cute game
Real gem here, its a bit choppy with the lighting giving something of a performance hit but it's a solid game for a buck :D It also has extensive graphics ooptions, soemthing you don't always see from indies or at this price range.
XUnity.
Possibly the best and fun game to be played with family and friends! If you and your friends like water guns go pew pew then this game is for for ya'll. And also for streamers and content creators who wanted to play and have fun with their fellow viewers this one is a splash!!
Trianga’s Project: Battle Splash 2.0, developed and published by Dranya Studio, is a colorful and unconventional arena shooter that deliberately distances itself from the gritty realism and lethal weaponry common in the genre. Instead, it embraces a playful concept built around water-based combat, physics-driven chaos, and fast-paced action that feels more like an energetic arcade experience than a competitive military shooter. From the moment you step into its arenas, the game establishes a tone that prioritizes fun, experimentation, and movement, offering an experience that is easy to pick up yet surprisingly dynamic once its mechanics begin to unfold. At the heart of the game is its distinctive combat system, where water replaces bullets as the primary means of attack. Players wield an assortment of water guns and aquatic gadgets designed to soak opponents rather than eliminate them in traditional ways. What makes this system engaging is how water behaves within the environment: splashes bounce, spread, and interact with terrain in unpredictable ways. This turns every encounter into a constantly shifting scenario, where positioning, angles, and movement are just as important as accuracy. Battles often feel chaotic in the best sense, as the physics-driven water effects can dramatically change the flow of combat in an instant. Battle Splash 2.0 offers flexibility in how players experience this action by supporting both first-person and third-person perspectives. This option is more than cosmetic, as each viewpoint subtly alters how combat feels. First-person mode emphasizes immersion and precision, while third-person provides better spatial awareness and highlights the game’s movement-focused design. The ability to switch between perspectives allows players to tailor the experience to their preferred playstyle, enhancing accessibility and replayability without compromising the core mechanics. The game includes a variety of modes designed to accommodate both solo and social play. Cooperative modes allow players to team up against waves of AI-controlled enemies, encouraging coordination and shared strategies. These modes are particularly effective at showcasing the game’s physics and character abilities, as teamwork can amplify the impact of water-based attacks. Competitive multiplayer modes, on the other hand, emphasize reflexes, movement, and clever use of the environment, making matches feel fast, lighthearted, and energetic rather than punishing or overly technical. Adding further depth is the presence of survival-style gameplay elements, where enemy waves grow progressively more challenging and players must adapt their tactics over time. This structure introduces a light progression loop that rewards experimentation with different characters and weapons. Rather than relying on complex skill trees or heavy customization systems, the game keeps progression straightforward, allowing players to focus on moment-to-moment action while still feeling a sense of growth and improvement across sessions. Character variety plays an important role in maintaining long-term interest. Each character comes with unique abilities that influence how they perform in combat, ranging from aggressive soaking strategies to more supportive or evasive roles. This diversity encourages players to try different approaches and find a role that suits their preferences, whether that means charging headlong into battles or controlling space with well-placed splashes. While the roster is not enormous, the differences between characters are distinct enough to keep matches feeling fresh. Visually, Battle Splash 2.0 leans into a bright, anime-inspired style that reinforces its playful identity. Arenas are colorful and easy to read, which is crucial given the speed and chaos of combat. The character designs add personality and charm, complementing the game’s lighthearted tone. While the graphics are not technically cutting-edge, they are clean and functional, ensuring that clarity and performance take priority over visual excess. Community reception reflects the game’s niche appeal. Players who enjoy unconventional shooters and cooperative chaos often praise its originality and fun factor, while those looking for deep competitive balance or long-term progression may find it more limited. The game shines brightest when played with friends or an active online community, where its mechanics and humor can fully flourish. Solo play is still enjoyable, but the social energy of multiplayer enhances the experience significantly. Overall, Trianga’s Project: Battle Splash 2.0 succeeds by committing fully to its unique concept. It does not try to compete with mainstream shooters on realism or intensity, instead offering a refreshing alternative built on creativity, physics-driven combat, and accessible fun. For players seeking a lighthearted, fast-paced shooter with a distinctive identity and strong multiplayer focus, it provides an engaging and memorable experience that stands out precisely because it refuses to take itself too seriously.

I see some possibilities in this game to succeed as FPS game. Usually anime game doesn't fit well with FPS theme and that's why there are mostly fighting games in competitive genre of anime games like GGS and DBFZ, while Eternal Return and Yu-gi-oh Master Duel are only exception to succeed without being fighting genre as they provide very high quality game-plays in their own genres. Maybe this game can be first popular FPS anime game if tournaments can be held regularly. Secondly, anime game design like female characters selectable-only usually make the game look like a joke as a competitive genre due to unseriousness and I wonder how this game dev will overcome this problem to encourage players to play competitively. For those who try this game, It's like Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash + CSGO and I liked the concept. Selecting between FPS and TPS is great idea. What to say more? yeah music/sound effect/UI needs to be upgraded as well. Plus this game runs flawlessly on Steam Deck.
