I've played the entire game in only 2 hours and I had fun. I would love to see a bit slower progression or more possibilities to improve the woodcutting process. Maybe add more trees? A campaign or a scenario?
The core loop of building a self sustaining forest by chopping down trees and automating the process with workers is really well executed. It's easy to just zone out and watch your little lumberjacks clear the area while you manage the resources. The progression feels great as you purchase and stack upgrades for different types of trees like oak and maple. You get a real sense of exponential growth as your production speeds up over time. The inclusion of prestige mechanics and XP based perks ensures that every run feels meaningful and pushes your output even further. The seasonal changes and clean visual style add a nice touch to the whole experience. It's a fantastic, low stress game for anyone looking to unwind and watch their automated forestry empire grow at a steady pace.
Idle & Incremental Lovers recommends Trees Inc: It's your classic woodcutting idle, with the help of jacks and growers as a novelty. A bit repetitive in resources, normal upgrades, perks and prestige upgrades, based on numbers and not new gameplay. + Seasons are also a good addition, allowing you to focus on your style of play (active or idle) or putting emphasis on XP points for special perks. + Numbers go up, but are never abbreviated, you see them grow bigggggggggger, which is appreciated :-) + Art and sound design art decent, but nothing special. + It's pretty apparent when you buy your first workers that they are dumb and inefficient :-) but when there are a lot of them, you don't notice it anymore. Maybe I should work in a bigger workplace and not in my small 4 persons team ;-) + There is an actual end, which is always good in a premium incremental game (it's pretty short and abrupt though, I wish there were some fireworks to celebrate my win) - The XP system allows you to choose between 3 perks at each treshold, but ultimately there is a limited choice and you will end up taking them all (they can all be taken only one time) so you don't have a real feeling of player agency. - The prestige system is underexploited. I only prestiged one time, my next prestige was for the game-ending prestige perk so I didn't get to play with more than half the prestige perks. A balance change incentifying you to prestige more regularly would be great! *How do trees access the Internet? They log in.* Found this review helpful?
Worth it for a few hours of entertainment.
A great game! I got 100% achievements in less than 4 hours. Perfectly paced. No cash shop to add power which I love. Well done, devs. Two thumbs up.
Macht genau das, was es soll: entspannendes Idle Gameplay, angenehme Progression und ein paar kurzweilige Stunden Spass. Für den Preis absolut empfehlenswert.
2h39m to beat the game and unlock every achievement, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I think you will too!
ну такое, не очень внятный гемплей на 2 часа за 50р еще можно купить, но за полную стоимость смысла нет
