This is a retro-styled puzzle game about keeping a hungry pet happy with tasty treats. Choosing treats the pet will enjoy will reduce their hunger strength level and choosing things they cannot eat will only make them hungrier!
Before I played Treats Please!, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Free Game. Very simple, but also fun. Hot cat action.

"Treats Please!" is certainly one of the dumbest games on Steam, yet got a few positive participation trophy reviews for no reason other than there's a picture of a cat. Seriously. And the picture of the cat is the best part about this. It isn't even a particularly good picture of a cat. What do you do in the game? All you do here is click on food that you think cats will like and avoid clicking on food cats won't like. That's really it. A 3x3 grid of pointlessness. So this looks like an old 1990's Adobe Flash game that you might play in a web browser, and the problem there is obviously Steam wasn't intended to try compete with Chrome and Firefox. If it can be done in a web browser, it's not even close to a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That's a problem. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam.
Almost recommended. This can be so much more. It's works as designed and has the cute factor going for it. However, this is more of a mini-game prototype and needs more layers such as combos and levels. Also, I couldn't get the settings and other menu options to appear, had to close game from my taskbar. It's neat for a few minutes, but can be skipped.

Jednoduchá hra ale i přesto rychle upadne do stereotypu.
