Reviews
This game is for real rpg sickos (I'm sickos) and I really appreciate that about it. It's a very flawed game but it has so much charm and the music goes so hard that you won't mind hanging on to the finish. It's a fairly easy game overall that you can easily break if you know what you're doing. I had this growing up but I couldn't really figure it out, this version brings much needed quality of life updates and it even cleans up the messy original translation.
A wonderful game.
I received this game to review and wish i could refund it. your character is useless in fight and goes down after 3 hits, can only cast a singular spell before running out of Mana and if he dies game over, speaking of magic, it'S very hard to land a single magic hit due to how the combat systeme is done. It's not even an old classic, just google the game and you can see that it wasn't well received even back then
⭐ A Forgotten 16-Bit JRPG Gem Traysia may not be one of the most famous RPGs from the Sega Genesis era, but it still delivers a charming and memorable adventure even today. Thanks to its Steam release, modern players can finally experience a lesser-known classic filled with old-school atmosphere and retro charm. The journey of Roy captures the true spirit of early JRPG exploration. The world feels mysterious and dangerous, encouraging players to travel through towns, deserts, caves, and ancient ruins in search of answers and adventure. Even with a relatively simple story, the game creates a strong sense of immersion and discovery. Its turn-based combat system is another highlight. Battles can be surprisingly challenging, especially during the early portions of the game, requiring careful planning and resource management. This higher difficulty gives progression a rewarding feeling that many classic RPG fans will appreciate. Visually, Traysia preserves the colorful aesthetic of the 16-bit era beautifully. The environments have a nostalgic charm, and the soundtrack complements the adventure with relaxing and atmospheric melodies that fit the fantasy setting perfectly. The Steam version is valuable not only for accessibility, but also for preservation. It gives modern audiences the chance to experience a hidden RPG that was overshadowed by larger franchises despite having its own unique identity and charm. While it may not have reached legendary status like some other retro JRPGs, Traysia remains a worthwhile experience for fans of classic role-playing games. Its atmosphere, challenge, and adventurous spirit make it a true hidden gem from the golden age of 16-bit RPGs.
