About
Tracebound is a fast-paced action-runner game where you play as Ayor, an ice skater who glides across the body of a colossal being.
Those giants were once the forces of nature itself, making the world thrive through their movements. But humanity struggled to settle in a world that is constantly changing, and out of fear, they bound the gaints in place. But without their motion, nature withered, and the world began to die.
As Ayor you skate across the hazardous skin of the giant and carve frozen traces into its surface. By circling its limbs and shattering the chains that imprison it, you will free the giant and help nature to heal.

Short but fun, and the visuals are super cool
i wish there was more, the game has great potential and it shows in the art direction and the general design of the mc and the titan. I wish there was more because even tho the gameplay was a little clanky it still was enjoyable. If it were longer like at least 2 hours long i would say it would be great but even so its a good game to check out, the devs knew what they were doing.
For a roughly 10 minute experience, it's a very pleasant little experience skating around the giant listening to the soundtrack. Curious to see what else the dev for this game could make!
you are skating uphill on a body, but since the map surface is not always straight, it just breaks the momentum for no reason. also it easy to stuck outside the intended route. get playtesters next time.
Postcard Game, short, sweet proof of concept. Impeccable aesthetics, somewhere between the Void, Citizen Kabuto and Mario Galaxy. High jank content. I got lost and Skyrim-horsed my way to the end, in my mind, that's definitely a plus. For some reason, it makes my 2070 choke, even in the menum despite the PS2 era graphics. Go figure.. All in all, absolutely worth the 15 minutes it takes to complete. Very impressive first endeavour, I'll follow the dev. Even just iterating on the concept would make a good game, ironing out the jank with the gravity, making map clearer, adding combos and movement options, etc.. As is, it's barebones but a very solid basis.
i feel like there was a bit more lore not the most riviting of gameplay but conceptually interesting and a potential base for a later game
