One star for misleading advertisement I’ve been playing the game for a couple of years and gotten pretty far in it so I’m not knocking the game in and of itself, but, what is advertised in the interactive ad, is not what is offered within the actual game itself. The developers know that yet they still do this, knowing people would literally download a game that is like the one being advertised. Not cool! One star kind of behavior.

Help this get most helpful 🙏 Honest & detailed read- Consistently does not listen to player base. WE WANT TOWN DECORATIONS BACK. As a fairly new player of almost 6 years (including a three year hiatus which I now deeply regret for the reason stated in previous sentence) and 25,000+ levels, I can only imagine this rant x10 for the older ones because I’m sure things were exponentially better say, 10 years ago. Stripping back the regattas, card collections, jungle quests, disco clash, farmer’s race, frozen fortunes, drill dashes, and flip the tiles…you are left with your town, match-3, and the monthly adventures. First off, great on them for continuing to add community buildings. I’ll get there when I get there. Second, why did they get rid of some of the old boosters for the match-3? Was the “swap” booster too OP? If you already sucked at these levels, they found a way to nerf you even more. Third, I have no problem inhaling match-3 levels by the thousands if it meant I got a cute decoration for my town that you can’t buy from the menu. WHY did that stop? I looked forward to what the next one was going to be, and how I could make it fit it my town. Fourth, when the adventures went from just a list of maybe 12 tasks to chapters of tasks, I still went on. The 4 chapters of 10 tasks each turned into 4 chapters of 13 tasks, and then THAT turned into 8 chapters of 10 (two 4 chapter chunks) with NO DECORATION REWARD! Bro. Now we just get “explorer” titles….which who even ASKED for that?? I never complained I paid money, I get that most apps are pay to play these days anyways, but they kept alienating players when they put in more micro transactions and the inability now to buy gold coins with town cash. No matter, people would still pay up if it meant completing the adventure quest line to get a new decoration with the rewards right? But now other than a title count we just get the same things you would normally win when you opened any chest at all (just in a larger amount). I’m struggling to find a shred of motivation to do the new story lines…there’s nothing unique I can show off anymore. Playrix, if you don’t want to alienate the remaining paying players you have who actually enjoy building their town up, AT LEAST design new foliage, trees, sidewalks, ANYTHING new to put up in the menu thing for us to buy; you guys are using AI to design the card collection graphics and who knows what else now anyways so it shouldn’t break what obviously little remaining budget you have left (just the nearest neighborhood’s water supply). TO ANYONE looking to start playing or to keep continuing playing because they saw an old head’s town full of amazing animated unique decor they can’t seem to find in the little store- don’t be misled. That was the township game of yesteryear. You will never get the chance to receive something special like that EVER AGAIN. They’re now museum relics aging in cities that have been forgotten about because the players left. Not even able to be sold or traded. They were little commemorations of the completed adventure you could remember. Chat are we cooked? Do they even care for our opinions anymore or just MuH sHaReHoLdErS? I used to have severe FOMO for those unique decorations. Now i don’t feel like I’d miss anything, and yet at the same time feel empty moving forward. The longer I keep playing the longer it feels like if an app got sold to private equity and went downhill ever since. IN SUMMARY: no more decor? Wack. Explorer titles? Wack. Only being able to buy Town cash now not gold? Wack. No new stickers? Wack. No new profile pictures in ages, probably ever? Wack. TO THE DEVELOPERS: I don’t go writing reviews willy nilly. In fact this is the first one ever, and that’s on getting BIG mad. This can all come down if you give us what we want back. I’ll keep editing this review updating the masses on any other miserable changes that happen, if it will help be the deciding factor for someone NOT downloading this game. They’ll be saved immense disappointment along with their money, because you guys are clearly just polishing a turd at this point. update #1: Three expeditions in with no decoration currently. they downgraded the weekly contest-with-your-friends-reward from a pack of cards with 1 new card you don’t have yet, to just a pack of 6. Now farm chores/gift drift is your way to a weekly new-card pack, if you complete 98% of tasks. Which also now includes partaking in the farmer’s race, jungle quests, drill dash, regatta points earned, & disco clash, making an in-app purchase, and spending town cash. Still no new decorations, but plenty of new skins for your cows and chickens. What about our pigs? Do they not deserve to feel bonita too? But hey, at least we have temporary titles!

Unfair To Players The developers randomly give some players perks and restrict other players. After playing for years they have started randomly restricting parts of the game that offer rewards. But they only restrict some players while still rewarding others. Totally unfair and they do not care when you bring it to their attention. The AI bot says it is random….but is it??? Good luck communicating with a human.

Not like it’s advertised It is a very fun game! However, I downloaded because I did a practice play on a different game. And it is NOTHING like the ad I played!

Nothing like the Preview It’s nothing like the preview nor the preview pictures. What mini games there are take no strategy to solve. It’s a match 3 game with in-game purchases necessary to advance in the weekly challenges.

Bloom & Buzz/Boat Please create an option to remove a player from the side game!!! When you have someone added and they did ZERO help to play make it an option to boot them and choose someone else. PLEASE AND THANK YOU

Not like the Ad I downloaded this game bc of the Ad and how much fun it was. It is NOTHING NOT EVEN A SMIDGE CLOSE TO THE AD. Don’t waste ur time. Hope they fix this bc it would be awesome

discriminate i enjoy playing this and building up my account (lvl 50) i referred my boyfriend to play with me which makes it even more fun. but the big negative is the discriminatory set up. they offer a monthly pass to purchase for valuable rewards or standard rewards for free. last month me and my boyfriend bought the voyager pass and build up our accounts nicely. that ended and a new harvest pass started and i bought it. he went to buy it too and found out from support that it's only offered to specific accounts of they're choosing each month. there is nothing that can be done personally or from support to know if your account will be able to access it each month. so i see this as very unfair privilege. some accounts that can access it have a huge advantage over accounts without access, even without buying the pass, the free rewards from the event aren't given to the unlucky people who can't participate in the month long events.
