It's a cool little game. The price is definitely right for what this is. I especially was drawn to the simplistic art design, as it strikes me as minimalist comic book style, which is always charming. It's not just a hidden object game, but rather, it's a hidden object game with a story, which I don't really see in a lot of hidden object games. That being said, the writing is about what you'd expect from your everyday budget priced lewd game, which is to say that it doesn't take itself seriously. A positive in my opinion. It's just good vibes, and that's cool with me.
What I don't like is exactly how the hidden object portion of the game is handled. This isn't like Where's Waldo or one of the many hidden object cat games out there, where you're looking for something that's cleverly camouflaged in plain sight. Rather, this game's approach to being a hidden object game is to hide the girls you're looking for behind things, and the only hint you get to finding them is by spotting suspicious portions of them poking out of their hiding places, and a lot of them can be EXTREMELY subtle, and not in a good way. So much of the subtly is just finding a teeny tiny lump sticking ever so slightly out of place, resulting in a lot of:
"Is that an odd looking lump sticking out of the wall?"
"What's that tiny little thing on the boarder of that barrel?"
"Does this line look like it belongs on this wall?
It's a lot of asking yourself things like that as you click around seeing if anything gets revealed. Honestly, there's nothing clever about doing a hidden object game in this way. It simply feels very lazy.
There were a few times when I was absolutely stumped by a girls hiding place,but being that they're all hiding in the manner that I explained above, it can be suuuper frustrating to be stumped by this game, and you'll often feel like there's not a lot that you can do to unstump yourself. In comparison to a traditional hidden object game, if you're stumped, you at least have a decent chance at eventually spotting that last object, being that it's merely hidden in plain sight, albeit, very cleverly. In this game, however, when you're stumped, it feels like there's nothing you can do about it. Also, there's no hint system to move you along in any way, so if you do get stumped (and you will), have fun with that.
To close this out, if you're a hidden object fanatic, don't even bother with this game. Just save your money and go buy one of the many well made hidden object cat games that are out there instead. This isn't going to scratch the itch of a more refined pallet, rather, this is something silly. Just a good bit of stupid fun for a reasonably low price, and it nails that. You don't even have to find all of the waifu's hiding places in each room to progress through the game (THANK GOD). If you can find enough of them (and you can) you're good. This is a thumbs up from me, but not way up. It's good, not great, and as long as you know that going into it, you'll likely have a good time.
