It's hard to come into these games late. Funnily enough, these grand strategy/total war games that people complain about as DLC money bleeding things "only care about monetisation" are so much closer to the "live service" ideal than the majority of what live service games ever come close to achieving. It just makes it much harder to start late, as the amount of DLC is really difficult financially to catch up with.. But you can't buy crappy lootboxes or a fake currency, you get what you get.. New lords/factions is a new way to play for another 50-100 hours easily, if not more. And still cheaper than a destiny expansion with say 4 hours of gameplay it expects you to repeat endlesly. If you are only interested in one faction, it's a much easier sell. You could just buy each faction as you want to play them, a campaign and one faction pack cam easily give you as much as any other game totals over it's lifespan. My gameplay hours at time of recording in #Total War Warhammer 3 is the prologue, like an hour of chaos daemons and then 100 turns of chaos dwarves. Definitely look up some tutorials - I was garbage at all of these games til I found Zerkovich - he's engaging and informative. FYI install bazzite, kill windows - Clicking "Exit to windows" when I'm exiting to ez mode linux is the best damn feeling.

Yes...but it's not a easy relaxing game. You need to be in the mood to play this game, beacsuse it's a lot of thinking and planning to make it all work haha

This game is a masterpiece for Strategy. Highly recommend it.

I love Warhammer. It’s a great game. It has had its problems, but I still think it’s absolutely fantastic.

I have thousands of hours in this game and it's predecessors. I've made a ton of YouTube videos for this game because its epic scale inspired me to do so. I continue to return and play it on each DLC release. I don't think any other game has given me the amount of playtime as this one. It has plenty of issues (AI, pathing, diplomacy) but for me it all takes a back seat to the spectacle of being able to experience virtually the entire Warhammer Fantasy universe in grand fashion. It also has a healthy modding scene to extend the longevity of the game even further. Now, the entry point for all DLC is pretty high. You have to ease your way into the game and watch for sales. I received the majority of the DLC for free but have friends that have dropped the game due to the overwhelming amount of additional paid content.
