Great game, but it lacks a lot of potential. Dear Developer: If you've abandoned the game, no problem, but at least could you fix any bugs that might still be present in this version? Bug: Mouse disappears from the game Bug: They disappear from bodies Bug: Unable to quit the game mid-game Bug: Chase scene gets stuck on a crate Bug: Chase scene, black screen after activating a generator Bug: Accessory misalignment with mouse cursor aiming Bug: There's a fusion during the animation. Bug: There's an action sequence error involving criminals. Bug on the chair. Developer all of this would be a great honor. to fix all the problems

perfect
TORMENTOR is a horror simulation title developed and published by Madmind Studio that deliberately sets out to create an experience far removed from conventional survival horror games. Instead of placing players in the role of a frightened victim attempting to escape danger, the game explores the perspective of a deeply disturbed individual who oversees a hidden prison designed to serve the demands of a sinister underground network. Combining psychological horror, management mechanics, stealth elements, and narrative-driven progression, TORMENTOR aims to deliver an unsettling experience built around moral discomfort and disturbing subject matter. The story follows Ezekiel, a man struggling with severe psychological deterioration. His memories are fragmented, his grip on reality weakens over time, and recurring blackouts threaten to consume what remains of his sanity. To slow this decline, he relies on an experimental substance supplied through criminal connections operating within the darker corners of the internet. This personal conflict serves as the foundation for the narrative, providing a layer of psychological tension that extends beyond the game's more controversial themes. While the story often takes a back seat to gameplay systems, it succeeds in giving context to Ezekiel's actions and creates an atmosphere of constant mental instability. A significant portion of the experience revolves around managing and expanding a remote prison complex hidden among ancient ruins. The facility functions as the player's headquarters and gradually evolves throughout the game. New rooms, traps, surveillance equipment, and specialized chambers can be added over time, allowing players to reshape the environment according to their preferred style. The management systems provide a surprisingly substantial amount of customization, transforming the prison into a personalized network of corridors, obstacles, and specialized areas. Resource management and progression are closely connected to the prison's growth. As objectives are completed and sponsorship opportunities become available, players gain access to additional equipment and upgrades. This progression loop encourages continual expansion and experimentation. Rather than remaining static, the prison becomes increasingly elaborate as new systems are unlocked. Watching the facility evolve from a neglected structure into a fully operational center of operations provides one of the game's strongest senses of accomplishment. The investigation mechanics add another layer to the gameplay. Prisoners arrive with personal histories, documents, messages, and information that can be examined. Learning about these individuals allows players to uncover weaknesses, fears, and hidden details that may influence future interactions. This investigative component creates moments where observation and analysis become just as important as direct action. It also helps flesh out the game's world by giving each captive a degree of background and personality. One of the more distinctive features is the integration of a fictional online audience. Through broadcasts and livestreams, players attract sponsors who provide financial support and new opportunities. This system functions as the game's primary economic engine, linking progression to public interest within the game's dark online ecosystem. The concept serves as a commentary on voyeurism, exploitation, and society's fascination with extreme content, giving the experience a thematic layer that extends beyond its surface-level shock value. The game occasionally shifts power dynamics through special scenarios where prisoners are allowed to fight back. Instead of maintaining complete control, players can find themselves hunted within their own facility. These moments introduce tension and unpredictability that help break up the routine of prison management. The sudden transition from predator to prey creates some of the game's most suspenseful sequences and adds variety to the overall structure. Atmosphere is one of TORMENTOR's strongest assets. The abandoned prison, ancient ruins, dimly lit corridors, and oppressive environmental design work together to create a world that feels deeply unsettling. The game rarely relies on traditional jump scares. Instead, it generates discomfort through environmental storytelling, disturbing imagery, and a constant sense of psychological decay. The visual design reinforces the themes of madness and corruption that define the experience. The presence of Bloody Mary, portrayed by horror actress Shawnee Smith, adds additional character to the game's cast. Her performance contributes to the overall horror aesthetic and helps establish a stronger connection to genre fans. The inclusion of a recognizable horror figure gives the project additional personality and supports its cinematic ambitions. Despite its originality, TORMENTOR is not without flaws. Some gameplay systems can become repetitive over extended sessions, and certain mechanics lack the refinement expected from larger-budget productions. Technical shortcomings occasionally interfere with immersion, while the controversial subject matter may overshadow the deeper systems for some players. The game often walks a fine line between provocative storytelling and excessive shock value, and not every player will appreciate the direction it takes. However, what ultimately makes TORMENTOR stand out is its willingness to pursue ideas that most horror games avoid entirely. It combines psychological deterioration, prison management, investigation mechanics, environmental storytelling, and survival elements into a package that feels genuinely different from mainstream horror releases. Whether players admire or dislike its approach, it is difficult to deny that the game possesses a distinctive identity. TORMENTOR succeeds most when viewed as an experimental horror simulation rather than a traditional action or survival title. Its strongest qualities lie in its atmosphere, originality, customization systems, and psychological themes. While rough edges and controversial content prevent it from appealing to a broad audience, those seeking unconventional horror experiences may find a surprisingly ambitious and memorable journey hidden beneath its disturbing exterior. Rating: 6/10
too much hype and time waiting for something so simple and it doesnt give us neither much freedom in killing nor in character editing
That's god game
Nice addition to the Agony universe. If you are not a fan of Agony/Succubus/Paranoid/Nymphomanic or haven't played before you will not like this. The story line was very interesting just a little short. Graphics were very nice. The concept is a bit difficult to get used to and is a bit much for most players. I didn't find any glitches on my playthrough or in sandbox. The files you find are what really ties this in to Agony. The story has many references as well. The characters were also very interesting. The only negative I can think of would be the concept of torture for cash. But this is the reality we live in. On the plus side many of the "victims" are far from innocent and have done horrible things, if you can get them to confess.
