Cool game, short and free so why not play it.
A very short, relaxing game about birds and haiku.
Small (literally, u cann't play this more than 30 min, but that's not bad) and simple, but very cute with asian aesthetic game. I guess i like it, good luck to developers <3

"Tori" is less of a game and more of a "walking" sim art experience. What do you do in the game? not much. Just fly around and let the "art experience" unravel around you. The "game" (if it can be called that) is a simple low poly tech demo, a short exposition on some aspects of Japanese religion, which in this case involves some temples and Tori gates (you know those red arch things). That's all there is to it. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. This game is fairly dated at 7 years old... it's showing a bit of age and won't give you a very up-to-date gaming experience. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $5 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
