Champions League is ruining the fun I've been playing this for several years and thought I was getting the hang of it. I could play a few levels each day and then walk away. Then they began adding multiple side challenges. If I tackled those it was a good way to bank extra coins and boosters. Then this Champions League showed up last month. It quickly became clear that they made this a much more difficult level of play that I never signed up for and was stuck playing for about 25 days. I hated it and was so happy when the Champions League was finished a couple days ago. In this "League" all of the levels have a ridiculously low number of moves available and that there was no way to complete many of them without using up my boosters and coins needed to give me the 5 "extra" moves (moves that they subtracted from the level in order to drain your saved coins). Of course this means you go broke faster and can't "buy" more boosters without shelling out real money. Today the Champions League reappeared and once again you can't opt out of joining and it's the same annoying ordeal: fewer moves with fewer tile matches causing you to again start using up the boosters and coins you may have just won, thus repeating the shakedown. Once my coins run out it's going to be time to move on to a new game. The fun vanishes quickly when the game feels like a chore you must rush through or lose any chance at continuing game play. Yes, you can play without boosters or coins as the Dev has commented on other reviews. That's ignoring the fact your users are saying it isn't fun repeating the same level over and over until the game eventually relents and gives you enough matching tiles to create in-game boosts - only to repeat this on the next level. Listen to your reviewers or you'll lose previously happy players.
