Rating: 7/10 Tobit is a FREE walking simulator of a walk through the woods while a narrator reads the Bible's Apocryphal book of Tobit. It is as if a friend is reading aloud, while you walk through the woods together. If you are looking for a "jump and run" shooter, this is not it. The walking simulator is from a first person view, along a series of paths in the woods. The paths lead through woods, hills and across a small stream. While the background starts out browning as at the middle of fall, halfway during the walk it becomes noticeably greener. You may need to double back to the main path as false paths come to dead ends. Also stay on the main path. On one attempt at exploring, I became stuck and had to restart. The ambiance is quiet, with light guitar, breeze, birds, and the stream. The narration is calm and well read. My only criticism is I am familiar with a different pronunciation of a couple of the place-names. All in all, if you are looking for spending a serene and mellow few hours, this is a fine product.

Великолепно.
I liked the slow-paced walking with the storytelling, but it's easy to get turned around, and I spent at least a half hour retracing my steps and going in circles. And of course the story halts unless you're progressing into new territory, so I wasted quite a lot of time. I could also do without the dead ends. The random cigarette packs strewn along the trail were an interesting choice, though haha. In future games, I'd like to be able to walk in an environment that has at least some relation to the story. A well-researched, historically accurate recreation of ancient Israel would be amazing to wander around in, but failing that, somewhere in the Middle East would be the next best thing. And if the route is going to be linear, it'd be helpful to have areas with distinct features or some way of knowing where you've already been. Lastly, while I applaud the decision to use a less-known apocryphal text and your decision not to edit or shorten it, I'd suggest a story somewhat more engaging than that of Tobit.
This is one of the two most boring games in my ranking!!! Why can't I walk faster? Why is the landscape so monotonous ? Went to the principle !!! BUT this is not a game, but some kind of game-audiobook. This is a great idea, but very boring. https://youtu.be/X6bbuCVfOSI
It's a beautiful picture, but there's nothing to play. It's just walking, with minimal interaction and emotions.
Painfully slow walking tempo. And basically you can't side track. Taking some bible stuff is not very original... But the biggest problem is that you can easily get stuck on side of road and cannot get unstuck. That's big shame.
