Another spin on the 3D "spot the difference" games with a focus on spinning around a 3D diorama of a scene playing out. This type they added each scene having 3 different sizes where the bigger they are the more hidden objects you have to find. Very easy to understand and sit with but can be quite tricky to find all as some objects are incredibly tiny even with the max zoom function. Would love to have a bigger difference between lvls you have completed. Also more controller options is always nice, and lastly it's a bit tedious to have to click through all the levels one at a time, instead of just being able to select them like for example in ToriDori a similar game to this. Otherwise if you like these types of games pick this one up it's fun to sit with and can be challenging but it has helpful hints so you will never be fully lost or without guidance.
First impressions are solid. It is a nice three D find the differences game, with really interesting tableaus and solid controls. Two odd little peeves, first it does not have a feature I really like in a spot the differences game, a cursor in the side your arrow isn't in to compare, and second one side is bigger than the other, very weird. The puzzles can get kind of hard, but the game has an interesting clue mechanism. It removes a bunch of the details that do not have the change in it, so you still have to find it, but in a reduced area. All in all, very impressive, will certainly play some more. Two thumbs up. ADDENDUM: Finished all the levels (twenty) on the easiest level in an hour and half. There are three levels of difficult, and I will keep playing. That's a decent amount of gamer play already though, and one of the better HOG games I have played.
Tiny Tales: Hidden Objects brings a new version of games in the hidden objects genre. Now we need to find the differences in the images. The scenes have very beautiful art and are well constructed and diverse, always bringing something different to look for. Great game for those who want to try something different from traditional hidden objects.
Tiny Tales: Hidden Objects developed and published by Tribus Games Indie is a gentle, visually driven puzzle experience that builds on the familiar “spot the difference” concept while presenting it through charming, miniature 3D environments. Instead of static 2D images, the game offers handcrafted dioramas that feel like small worlds frozen in time, inviting players to slow down and carefully examine every detail. It’s a design that prioritizes relaxation and visual curiosity over challenge, creating an experience that is easy to approach but reliant on the player’s patience and attentiveness. The core gameplay revolves around identifying subtle differences within these compact scenes. Each level presents a carefully arranged environment filled with objects, characters, and small narrative touches, and the task is to locate inconsistencies hidden among them. The use of isometric perspectives gives the scenes a sense of depth, encouraging players to scan from multiple angles and pay close attention to shapes and positioning rather than relying purely on color or obvious contrasts. This adds a slight twist to the traditional formula, making the process of observation feel more engaging even though the underlying mechanic remains simple. One of the game’s more effective features is its adjustable difficulty. Players can choose how many differences they want to find within each level, allowing the experience to scale according to preference. This flexibility makes the game accessible to a wide audience, from those looking for a very relaxed activity to players who enjoy a bit more challenge in their search. A hint system is also available, ensuring that progress is never completely blocked, which helps maintain the game’s low-pressure atmosphere. Visually, the game is its strongest. The low-poly art style gives each environment a toy-like quality, with clean shapes and vibrant colors that make the scenes both readable and appealing. Despite the simplicity of the models, the levels are filled with detail, encouraging players to explore each corner thoroughly. There is a quiet storytelling element embedded in these environments, as small visual cues suggest events or narratives without explicit explanation. This subtle approach adds an extra layer of interest, even if it never develops into a full narrative experience. The pacing is deliberately calm, with no time limits or penalties to disrupt the flow. Players are free to take their time with each scene, making the game well-suited for short sessions or moments of relaxation. This design choice reinforces its identity as a casual, cozy puzzle game, one that can be picked up and set aside without any pressure to perform or progress quickly. However, the simplicity of the concept also leads to its main limitation. The gameplay loop does not evolve over time, and each new level, while visually distinct, offers the same type of interaction. There are no additional mechanics introduced to expand on the core idea, which can make the experience feel repetitive during longer play sessions. The enjoyment largely depends on how much the player appreciates the act of observation itself, as there are few surprises beyond the changing environments. Replay value is similarly limited. Once a level has been completed and all differences have been found, there is little incentive to revisit it, as the experience remains unchanged. The game is clearly designed to be completed in a relatively short timeframe, offering a contained experience rather than a long-term engagement. Despite these limitations, Tiny Tales: Hidden Objects succeeds in delivering a cohesive and polished experience within its intended scope. It takes a familiar concept and presents it in a visually appealing way, creating a relaxing activity that is easy to enjoy without requiring significant time or effort. Its strength lies in its clarity of purpose and its ability to provide a calm, focused experience. In the end, Tiny Tales: Hidden Objects is best viewed as a short, cozy puzzle game that emphasizes atmosphere and visual detail over complexity. It may not offer depth or long-term variety, but it delivers a pleasant and satisfying experience for players looking for something simple and relaxing. Rating: 7/10
This game is a perfect mix of challenge and relaxation. The low-poly art style is charming, and uncovering the stories behind each scene adds an extra layer of fun. Love it!
A really fun, very chilled and laid back game of spot the difference 3D. If you just want a relaxed, short game you can dip in and out of, I recommend this game. There is a hint system if needed and graphics are simple yet unique. I did buy in sale for a little bit off, but worth it imo :)
