This tidy backpack has seen things it can’t unsee
A cozy little brain workout where you play inventory Tetris with relics from a very questionable heroic past. You’re neatly packing things like an elven harp, mermaid dumbbells, and a five-pointed tray into a backpack that absolutely did not ask for this responsibility. The art is cute and colorful, the vibes are calm, and the music is chill enough to make your shoulders drop a notch. This is real inventory management. No shortcuts, no hand-holding. You’re given oddly shaped items and a limited space, and it’s on you to make it all fit across 96 levels. The item names and descriptions are genuinely funny, and if you click past one too fast, everything you’ve collected lives safely in a collection page. There’s a refresh button, a skip option if a puzzle just isn’t clicking, and a hint system that gently places one item for you without punishing achievements. You can even turn on click-to-hold to save your wrists, which I deeply respect. No achievement clutter either. Clean, tidy, satisfying. A full undo button would’ve been nice for experimenting, and a brightness slider could help since the game is pretty flashy. There’s also a tiny pop-up order hiccup at the end of a chapter, but it’s nothing more than a small polish note. Alright. Tidy Backpack is done and dusted. This is a relatively chill backpack organizer with a lite fable about an evil princess who through the power of love, is redeemed. Obviously, the story is there to simply give you a feeling of progression to your organization tasks. But yeah, this is really all about organizing backpacks. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3686580511 While the story is intentionally lighthearted, silly, and yes, charmingly passé; the writing actually shines when it comes to the item descriptions for each new item you unlock. Which are silly, funny, and pretty much universally ridiculous, lol. Of course, almost every new item has progressively more complicated and unusual shapes to offer a steady increase in puzzle challenge, and your backpack follows suit. There are quite a few backpack configurations over the span of the 96 levels this game offers. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3686580504 Now, most of the puzzles took maybe ten to twenty seconds to solve, but there were a couple that I got hung up on for a bit. They were also solved of course, but they those few took several minutes to solve instead. And actually, due to the concept of progressively more difficult organization puzzles, I hesitate to call this game cozy. It's definitely casual and lighthearted, but there is a bit of a challenge involved. Either way though, I think this does cater to the cozy game audience. It took me about three hours to complete, although the final two achievements didn't drop, so I replayed the final puzzle a couple times trying to get it to unlock. And that was the only bug I encountered in this game. If you're a completionist, and those cheevos don't trigger for you, they might instead trigger your OCD, lol. But overall, not really a big deal. At the end of the day, the kingdom was still rid of evil and everyone lived happily ever-after. So, mission accomplished. :) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3686580931 Yeah, this wasn't my favorite game, nor my favorite backpack organizer, but it was pretty chill overall, and I had a decent time with it. My favorite part was definitely the item descriptions, which put a smile on my face. I spent two bucks on this game while it was on sale this past week. That seems like a desirable price for this experience. If you're looking for something reasonably relaxed and yet puzzle-y and enjoy backpack organizers or are curious about them, this is a decent one. It's worth a look IMO. a very good casual/puzzle game. I recommend it. 96 levels to solve. the price of this game is alright.
It is a really cozy puzzle game where you organize all the items into a small backpack. I liked how each level brings new shapes and little challenges, so you actually have to slow down and think about how to use the space well. The art is soft and colorful, and the whole game feels very calm and low-pressure, which makes it easy to just relax and enjoy. I’d recommend this game if you’re looking for something chill and simple.
Hasta la vista, baby!
I had a whale of time playing Tidy Backpack ^-^ To sum it up we have to fit items into our backpack, the items come in different shapes and sizes and there are limited space in our backpack and its up to us to ensure they fit perfectly If you are fan of this type of game, you might want to also consider Outpacked - which poses a higher difficulty compared to Tidy Backpack. (Dont say I didnt warn ya~) Nonetheless, thankfully both of these game has guides :P so.. if we're reallly in a pinch.. I guess we could.. sneak a peek? :P >:D *cough* *cough* To end it off for Tidy Backpack, I really like reading the lore of each items and also the medieval-theme background music is so soothing~ *Chef's kiss* ~
Definitely worth two bucks
Simple but super cosy game! The art style is lovely, the music is beautiful, and it's honestly a great little game for if you're struggling with anxiety/stress, or to play while doing other stuff as well.
neat
Ничего такого выдающегося. Потыкать взять на пару часиков норм. Вторую часть (а она когда-то скоро выходит) не возьму уже
