Thunder Age

A very very different tower defense - puzzle game where you have to protect your base against electricity attacks. It's highly original but also a bit demanding and punitive. I would even say irritating at times. Interesting for puzzle gamers like myself though.

Fun puzzle game, gave me a good strain on my brain. Would definitely recommend!

Overall really nice concept and take on the traditional TD, Instead of just placing things and waiting you are actively doing things. I give it a 6/10 As it still needs some Quality of Life improvements [h1]My Annoyances:[/h1] [h2]Undoing the cages:[/h2] I love the idea as it keeps me busy where most TD's I'd be simply waiting for economy or for the "wave" to end. But, because you have to click the "tower" then click another option to undo the cage it takes up twice as many actions and seems pointless IMO. [h2]Time:[/h2] I understand it is supposed to be challenging but an actual pause to plan things out would make the game far more fun. I like the real time aspect but when you add in the walls I find myself wasting time trying to get them setup in the most efficient way and by the time I get them set up I'm either dead or close to dead. [i]Or you can simply just lower the speed of the electric balls.[/i] [h2]The selecting of structures:[/h2] It is extremely annoying not knowing what you are hovering over. It is a pain when you click the wrong structure or having to move your camera around to get the right angle. I do wish their was a top down view as the current rotation just lets you go left and right. Or possibly allow you to rotate the camera up and down.

Interesting concept and athmospheric implementation. Bit challenging controls.

Игра 'Thunder Age' – это захватывающая стратегия, погружающая в мир скандинавской мифологии и тактических сражений. Мне особенно понравилась система героев, каждый из которых обладает уникальными навыками и способностями, что вносит разнообразие в сражения. Графика, хоть и не самая современная, выдержана в приятном стилистическом ключе и хорошо передает атмосферу сурового мира викингов. Аудио сопровождение также на высоте, с эпическими мелодиями, подчеркивающими масштаб происходящего. Единственным минусом могу назвать несколько затянутое развитие на поздних этапах игры, когда требуется много времени на сбор ресурсов для улучшений. Однако, в целом, 'Thunder Age' – отличная игра для любителей стратегических баталий, предлагающая интересный сеттинг, глубокий геймплей и массу возможностей для развития. Рекомендую!

Maybe I did not get the game, but I found it too slow, not original nor challenging.
