"Throbax TD" is a fairly mediocre 2D retro pixel tower defense game. There's nothing to write about here... there are a lot of levels and a lot of upgrades, and a lot of enemy types, but that's somewhat of a minimum requirement. If you're aiming for the bottom rung when it comes to ambition in development, you at least should try aiming well. More of a mediocre thing doesn't make it better, unfortunately. What do you do in the game? It really is stock standard TD gameplay. I'd go so far as to say if the developers hadn't phoned in the graphics, this could have been very successful. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $3 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 10 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
tower defence türünü severim ama oyun soğumama sebep oldu almayın
I like it : )
Great little game. Stages have 3 different difficulty levels, to beat them you have to first beat a few on easy to earn points, upgrade towers, then go back and do it on the harder levels with your ugpraded towers. Some things are not explained very well (like the different power towers) but for a free game it was good, and quite difficult on the harder levels.
das spiel ist völlig unfertig hatte schon nach 10 levels unendlich gold und alle towerupgrades grafik ist hässlich einfach kein gute spiel
THE WORST GAME I've ever played and I've been gaming since 1976. VERY poor interface, infact it's a total abortion. DO NOT BUY

Looked like an interesting TD game, but I could not get it to work right. It kept flaking out for me, keyboard controls and mouse would flake out. I started setting the graphics, audio, and game options, and it would get flaky, up/down through menus was sporadic, and the mouse sporadic. I rebooted a couple times and it would work for a few minutes before flaking out again. I have a new computer, high end gaming PC, lots of memory, high end cpu, updated drivers... the entire system is made of common components, and name brands. I know there could be a simple fix, but unfortunately I don't have time to troubleshoot possible conflicts. I think it has potential, may work well for many people, and the price is right. I will wait a while and perhaps try it again after some updates.
