Bad input lag, irritating design, quite poor sound... Instead of a love letter to Metroid, it's all of Metroid's irritations from 1987 made more obnoxious. I really do admire the scope of what the developer intended to do here but there's a distinct lack of polish especially with regards to the controls. Coupled with unfair level design and enemy placement designed to make you get hit consistently and very cheaply, it's not worth the investment of your time.

the levels were designed, the interface is displayed, the graphics were made, the music was composed, the controls were a thing and the gameplay is there I think. This was truly one of the games ever made. It is certainly a game

Thibalryn is a great Metroid-like game by CoolJosk3k. I recommend playing it with a controller though (Mainly a NES styled controller but I used a wireless Gamecube controller to play). It is much better than using a keyboard and it feels just like Metroid. Download it now!

A little rough around the edges but it's got charisma and style. Maybe wish there was less repetition in some places and a better way to keep track of where you've been. Solid platforming and direction.

loving this game it is tough but not impossible fun to exploere however i am missing though a minimap that would be a great QOL update(but not a must)

Great exploration platformer. Half the fun is making your own map to get track of the mazes on each level.

O jogo é muito legal e divertido, pena que não é muito popular, então não soube oque fazer no jogo por um ano, até descobrir que o criador desponíbilizou um mapa do jogo para pessoas como eu jogarem. O jogo é longo e difícil, mas no fim você consegue se seguir o mapa. Acho que o jogo não é popular devido a ele ser muito difícil e confuso em algumas partes. Gostei que o jogo é bonito e com cinco fases e não gostei que ele é tão confuso, a ponto de eu ter que usar o mapa para avançar. Em geral, eu daria uma nota 9.5/10 para este jogo.
