just intalled the game and i am not geting of it thats how good is it!!

Bought this game years ago and only now do I have a behemoth of a PC that can truly make this the experience that it is. This is not just a "hunting" game. There is a lot more going on here. Travel through beautiful expanses, take your time or run through, visit landmarks, built a hunting stand in the woods and be a patient hunter or track them! It's not like you have to get down in the dirt and look at each individual track - the game's tracking system is very clear to your average gamer (read: NOT a real hunter) without being too "gamey" (pun absolutely intended - if you know, you know.) What else? You have your pick of so many types of equipment, ammo, weapons (not just long guns but shotguns and pistols too!) animal call devices, sprays, scopes, even the clothing on your. You can upgrade skills and perks as you level up from experience gained by exploring and killing things! Shoot a damn rabbit in the head if you want. The maps are absolutely HUGE and on sale right now (July 9, 2026) I can't find one thing to complain about. I guess if you don't like games where 90% of the time all you hear is nature sounds and the crunch of leaves or snow underfoot, you'll get stir crazy. Otherwise BIG recommend. Oh also if you don't have a really good PC you likely won't be able to appreciate the best the game has to offer in terms of immersion into a beautiful nature reserve. Keep in mind, I only have 2.5 hours played and the above is just SCRATCHING the surface. Okay one last thing: you don't have to worry about prone crawling everywhere to avoid snapping the wrong twig and sending every animal in a 100 ft radius to the hills. As long as you aren't hipfiring your shotgun every two seconds you likely will run into deer and other animals without too much effort, but the key is to make sure you hit them or else the gunfire WILL scare them off. No matter - then the chase begins and you can start tracking them!
