Not recommended if you don't have a looooooot of free time. If you’re not someone who has several hours to play continuously in one sitting, I really don’t think this game is a good fit for you. I bought this game during a sale, so I already came into it with pretty low expectations. I wasn't expecting a perfect game, and I was willing to overlook quite a few things. The hunting itself is fun, and the maps are beautiful. There is definitely a good game underneath all of this. Unfortunately, the overall user experience is much more frustrating than it needs to be. The controls and UI are unnecessarily confusing. There are so many menus, functions, key bindings and systems that it’s often difficult to figure out where something is or how to do something. I ended up having to search YouTube for tutorials just to understand basic operations. And there are *a lot* of tutorials explaining these basic things. To me, that says something about the design: if players constantly need external videos to understand the fundamentals, the UI and controls probably weren't designed clearly enough. The way saving and progression work is also very frustrating. You can only properly restart from an Outpost, so if you stop playing in the middle of a mission, you may have to walk all the way back to where you were when you return. I was willing to tolerate that. But then the game crashed. After restarting, my position wasn't saved, so I was sent back to the Outpost and had to walk for another ten-plus minutes just to get back to where I had been before the crash. All that time was simply wasted. I understand that this is a game about exploration and hunting, and I don't expect everything to be instant. But when basic systems make you repeatedly spend a significant amount of time simply retracing your steps, it becomes very frustrating—especially for players who can only play in shorter sessions. The developers seem very eager to keep releasing DLCs and monetizing the game, but I really think some of that effort should go toward improving the **basic systems, UI, controls, saving, and overall quality of life first. The hunting is fun. The world is beautiful. But the way the game handles the player's time is unnecessarily frustrating.
Good game very chill, need patience
A really soft game to play. Just wander around the map and shoot some animal or just enjoy the view. Perfect when you are about ta smash your computer into pieces after playing CS2.
I will give it negative reviews for one thing , the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amount of DLCS and many of them should have been included in the game base game , damn it greedy ♥♥♥ company
