"The Wire" is a casual puzzle game with plenty of levels, which is designed to suit the needs and abilities of players of all ages. Play with the electronic background music, you just need to move the controller to go forward. The most import thing is making sure it is going on the track.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

Neat game but it was a killer on my wrist. I had no problems with my roomscale but I didn't get that far into it either. If you like wire games and your wrist is not bothered than I suppose this will tickle your fancy. Plus it is free although I am uninstalling after this reveiw. ;-) . Try it out.
The Wire is a free VR game. It worked on my HTC VIve system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Was challenging, i am stuck at maze 5. You need a very steady hand and a sense of timing to play this. Does Not work with Steam Index, just a black screen. Try it, you might like it. For more info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gyi2HwjPptg

Played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers without any issues
You can probably get by several levels with standing room only. But in some levels, you will need a roomscale setup to get past the puzzle. I bought Hoope Route VR and this game is almost as good and it's free. You use your right hand controller to move without touching the edges or obstacles from start to finish of the maze. I think if you finish this game you should automatically get accepted into medical school. If you're strung out, don't even try this game. Rating 6/10 hey it's free and it's challenging fun for those with steady hands, add beer to make it more challenging
"The Wire" is not to be confused with the popular television series, "The Wire", despite "borrowing" their trademarked name. No, this is much worse... it's basically a reflexes test, a little VR tech demo where you move a pointer through a little maze without touching the sides. I could make a joke there but I won't. As always, if the only cool thing about your tech demo is VR support, then your tech demo isn't cool at all. The most entertaining thing about this non-game is that they seriously tried to charge money for it! Now that is comical. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy" and looks bad as a result of their lack of interest in doing their job properly. Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $4 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 9 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
The wire is pretty enjoyable game i reckon, Challenging with simple play rules. i uploaded the play video of this game on my channel.
Black screen on my Vive Pro still years later...
