This was very fun to play. You can also pause the game, which i used quite often. Be ready for quick time moments. You can keep the choices you make through the whole story, except the Michonne season. The story is exciting. Sometimes the reactions of characters were reasonable, sometimes they weren't. But that's how humans are built. I can recommend this game to people who like this kind of interactive series.

CHAIRLES. Cool? Cool.
as a person who really likes zombie genre games, its a very good game
Telltale games are often, and fairly, criticized, but they have long since become a genre of their own. You always know what to expect from them: a dynamic, gripping, entertaining adventure that leaves you with positive emotions. The Walking Dead, however, is like slowly wrapping your intestines around a fan — and not just the protagonist’s, but the player’s as well. If your life is lacking depression, misery, hopelessness, suffering, and all that other negativity, welcome to the game. Just think twice before starting this 50-hour journey — there is no turning back. The story is basically a continuous exercise in emotional, physical, and psychological abuse of children. These tricks always work and cannot leave the player indifferent, but from the creators’ side, it is pure manipulation. The lack of plot armor makes the story unpredictable only at first. You quickly realize that anyone can die at any moment, no matter how carefully you protect them or how strong a relationship you build with them. Eventually, you become detached from most of the characters, treating them almost like background extras. Many of the dramatic moments do not happen as a natural consequence of the story’s development, but simply because the writers decided that it was time to squeeze another tear out of the player

I enjoyed the first two seasons...up to that point it's an easy recommend. However, season 3 is where it falls apart. Contrived drama & a total disrespect for the players choices is frustrating. A lot of dialogue options do not represent what your character will actually say and often force a situation for dramatic effect. Which wouldn't be so bad, if the scenarios didn't make much sense. Characters feel like they just don't communicate or speak the truth just to put you in some ridiculous situation. It does not feel good to play from Season 3 onwards.
