Стратегии как жанр пропадает, а серия Stronghold, хоть и не настолько популярна (Привет Age of empires, Total war и прочие культовые игрушки), все равно дает отличные эмоции. Эту часть я играю со своим другом и как же это угарно создавать свое поселение и нападать/защищаться от других. Пока у меня было 300 яблок в городе, у моего друга уже было 3000. Он решил совершить нападение на мой город, мои катапульты отбили некоторых вражеских захватчиков но враг все равно просочился через мои ворота, но не тут то было. ЛОВУШКИ! Они начали дохнуть как муравьи неожидая что при входе в город я наставил огромное количество шипов для их маленьких задниц. Но это не спасло мою империю. Во время засады я успел поставить новые катапульты тем самым укрепив оборону и превратив игру в tower defense. К сожалению это все равно не спасло меня. Я был повержжен. Absolute cinema. 10/10 на кончиках пальцев

Used to love the Strongholds series as a kid. But now I see it haven't aged very well. Most of the gameplay itself is fine, but there are two major factors why I give it a negative review and its the AI. It's either terrible or cheating like crazy. One game I played 2v1 where one of the AI lords manage to segregate almost all of his production buildings so they couldn't be reached. Needles to say he wasn't very challenging opponent. The other made one push, but he also didn't do a very good job in getting his economy in order, so after beating the first "attack" he kind of just sat in his base the rest of the game. Another I played 1v1v1v1. Starting from Freeman, the lowest starting where you basically have access to any buildings. One AI lord had managed to amass about 100 spearunits and kept producing. Was able to afford atelast 5 catapults. All with NO market and only one poleturnern and about 4-5 foodbuildings. Where as the others was still struggling to get their economy going. How is this possible? It's a dice roll if you are going to end up with A. Terrible AI, B Cheating like crazy AI or C, actually decent doing AI. The second reason is unit numbers. For the love of god Firefly its 2026, let us increase unit numbers if we feel like it.

игра супер! удивлен почему с каждой страны онлайн только по 2-3 человека играют( очень мало) и как такое возможно! не нравится : 1. что не получается смотреть трансляци боев других игроков, хотя фунция такая предусмотренна 2. неудобный поиск карт когда их много

Stronghold 2 is a cool and engaging strategy game that shows castle building well and has exciting battles. Managing resources and planning really gives you a real sense of command. Every time you play, you just want to keep going
