The Stonks Market

I put everything I ever had on STONKZ! and all I got was this lousy game. 10/10, would lose again.

"The Stonks Market": Eine lehrreiche, wenn auch enttäuschende Erfahrung ;) "The Stonks Market" ist eine satirische Visual Novel, die sich um das Thema Aktienmarkt dreht. Mit einem einfachen Konzept aber einer lehrreichen Botschaft bietet das Spiel eine Erfahrung, die sowohl unterhaltsam als auch frustrierend sein kann (wenigstens für mich!). Als ich das Spiel das erste Mal spielte, war ich fasziniert von der Idee, mein eigenes Aktienportfolio aufzubauen und meinen Weg zum Reichtum zu planen. Die Präsentation des Spiels ist ganz ok (erinnerte mich ein wenig an die MAD Comics), mit netten stereotypen Charakteren und einer Handlung, die mich in die Welt des einfachen Aktienhandels eintauchen ließ. Allerdings stellte sich bald heraus, dass "The Stonks Market" kein Spiel für diejenigen ist, die nicht genau wissen, was sie tun (damit meine ich mich!). Mein erster Durchgang endete in einer Katastrophe - ich verlor nicht nur mein Geld, sondern auch mein Haus und sogar meine virtuelle Ehefrau. Es war eine enttäuschende Erfahrung, aber gleichzeitig auch eine wertvolle Lektion... Das Spiel lehrt einem, dass der Aktienmarkt kein Ort für unüberlegte Entscheidungen ist. Man muss gründlich recherchieren und klug investieren, um erfolgreich zu sein (was man in dem Spiel nicht so frei kann... ich glaube die verschiedenen zwischenmenschlichen Begegnungen können Hinweise hinterlassen, was "besser" wäre zu tun... ich hab's nicht erkannt ^^). In dieser Hinsicht ist "The Stonks Market" eine realistische Simulation der Risiken und Belohnungen des Aktienhandels. Obwohl ich das Spiel nur einmal gespielt habe und nicht vorhabe, es noch einmal zu spielen, glaube ich, dass es einen gewissen Wiederspielwert hat. Durch das Experimentieren mit verschiedenen Strategien kann man verschiedene Enden erleben (vermute ich!) und möglicherweise erfolgreich sein. Insgesamt kann ich "The Stonks Market" trotz meiner persönlichen Enttäuschung empfehlen. Für den Preis eines Euro (im Sale) bietet es eine lehrreiche Erfahrung, die Spieler dazu ermutigt, über ihre Entscheidungen nachzudenken und die Risiken des Aktienmarktes zu verstehen. GG, aber sei gewarnt: Wenn du alles auf eine Karte setzt, könntest du am Ende alles verlieren.

i liked it. its short (too short! more!) SPOILERS but if the developer reads this: i made 85 million in the first 3 days BEFORE i sold the house (which of course i would no longer do). then at the end of the game i had 1,2 billion and the game told me that was nothing special... like everyone makes a few bill the first two weeks of trading ...

An excellent meme game with surprisingly in depth insight into the stock market. Watching the stonk numbers fluctuate at sheer randomness is addicting, and with a goofy plot to boot, you do not want to miss out on this indie gem. Just don't invest in $POOP, even as enticing as it may be. 10/10

You play as a middle-aged suburban man who is clueless about the stock market, will you take advice from your F boy thinkfluencer friend or your doomsday prepper uncle??? Overall I think this is a fun parody game that comments on the stock market craziness!

A charming meme game that manages to capture my experience in the stock market frighteningly well. The writing from Vagabond Dog is what you expect, funny and well paced. It's a relatively short playthrough, but it's worth to go through a second time if you lost it all when you yolo'd in $JANC the first time. 10/10 would hold again.

A short, but comical story about a clueless man flirting with the stock market for the first time. The trading platform sections are enjoyable and are critical to directing the narrative one way or the other. Are you going to lose more than just your money, or will you triumph and end on a high? The story being tied to my trading performance made me care about doing well to potentially get a good conclusion. I'm about to go through it again and see how my story differs if I YOLO it all!

A fun satire on the real market. Quirky, funny, & unpredictable. Just when you think you've got it all figured out because you listened to your rich "friend" or your crazy uncle...things take a turn! It keeps you on your toes and is fun from start to finish!

A fun meme game that had me screaming at some parts, crying, and laughing. It is an emotional and financial roller coaster. What I take away from it is to ask yourself if you are the type who follows their own intuition or someone who listens to others? and decide for yourself which is best for you. PS, I will never forget the cool Space Ape or the hunky cowboys pointy nipples 10/10

I know it's a meme game, but this game is awful. Why does it make you manually save after every little conversation? Avoid at all costs and invest in real stocks instead. You'll have more fun.
