Just as awesome as the first, if not more so Morgan Vane is a great writer and this game certainly does not disappoint
Better than the first game!
This is a well written, fun adventure with a great cast of characters. Highly recommend the series.
Don't let my short time in this game fool you. First, I read fast, and second I've only done two full playthroughs so far. I adored the first novel, and this sequel definitely didn't disappoint. The author has done an amazing job ratcheting up the tension and the pace without it feeling rushed or like you're just waiting to get to the end. The only thing I will say is that in this one the romance wasn't as central to the plot. Perhaps that's because you got a lot of romance time in the first one, and in this one there was a lot happening, along with some major world building and character development - which frankly, totally makes up for the lack of kissing, LMAO. But what there was, was perfect. Beautifully written with the right amount of tension, desire, and fun, I was really hooked in by the romances, getting further pulled into the world and the characters. Edit: So I did the secret romance. And I have too many feelings. Too many The plot felt real and you could almost feel the stakes rising as the characters dashed to and fro trying to get to their end goal. And the big bad was really well written, making you both love and hate him in equal measure because his scenes were so good. I especially enjoyed the furthering of friendships in this one, really cementing the familial nature of the party, that is essential in any rpg, IN, or story. The author did an excellent job teasing out details of the world, the characters, and sprinkling little bits of the next instalment too. I really, really liked this one as a sequel, there were some downright funny moments that me laughing out loud, and some really interesting and different encounters compared to the first one. Naturally I bought it not long after it came out so now I have to try and be patient while waiting for the next one. I suck at being patient, btw. But I just know the next one will be worth the wait.
A continuation of an already awesome story
I'm having a lot of fun! =)
Very much enjoyed this. The author's improvement in writing and in storytelling is quite noticable. Can't wait for the next book in the series. I've only played this with the one route (Manerkol) and boy it was fun. It's really interesting to be able to allow to date the person you're very much fighting against. Plus he's fun.
Good
