Updated review after playing the game while trying to 100% it. Currently half achievements are done, and the game isn't bad still running into issues with items, and controls breaking. Stuck at 97% to unlock the final 3 smurfs. Also replaced eveyother word in my vocabulary with the word smurf now and that is a 10/10 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I expected going into this game, was a smurf version of Mario Party, not a 3D adventure game that I needed to play in order to unlock the party mode. I feel as though based on the images were a bit lied too, with what we were getting. A few hiccups I had while playing the game graphics. I had to drop down from High to Medium, because the framerate was abysmal. There's no way to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse, and using a mouse to use a camera feels completely unhinged, vs using a controller for the same feature. You do get a voiced protagonist, which threw me off at first, and his lines get overly repetitive as he says things while you roam around the environment. I'd rather just have an entire Smurf minigame collection, than a whole new open world smurf adventure. So for now I don't recommend this game. But I may update this review once I finish it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Unplayable with keyboard, but once you have controllers, very good and fun to play. Has also wonderful multiplayer (in form of various mini games).
Played on a Steamdeck @MatureContent
This is a very different experience to Vileaf and Prisoner of the Green Stone. You no longer fight the forces of evil but instead hang out with your smurf buddies and plan for a big party. It almost feels like this game is the celebratory end of the hard work you did in the other two games, saving smurf society. There is no deep story, cool combat, crazy bosses or waves of enemies in this game, it is just an open world filled with boring tasks and mini games which are meant for you to play in a party with your friends. I however, played this solo and while it did work, it was pretty boring. Most of what you do in this game is just small errands like breaking boxes, collecting scattered items and completing checklists, it is mostly just tasks that get boring after a few minutes. Some of the actual mini games were alright though, but still not something I would pay money to experience. The graphics are somehow worse than in the previous games. It looks visually less sharp and more pixelated, and the colors are also overexposed. There is also just generally a lot less detail in the environment, making everything outside of town looking kinda empty and it all just reminded me of playing a phone game. This game also seems to sometimes softlock after the Microids logo when you boot up the game, and I had to reboot the game multiple times before it let me play. I really liked Vileaf and Prisoner of the Green Stone, as they both delivered a fun and exciting game that felt great on the Steam Deck. This however is just a collection of short and boring mini games and the product itself just feels rushed. This game reminded me a lot of the SpongeBob Patrick Star Game with the whole open world sandbox mini game thing, and that game suffered from many of the same issues this game does, being really boring. ————————————————————————————— Help me out by following my Curator, I’d really appreciate it!!
5/10 you cant play the minigames until you unlock them in adventure mode. gonna take you like 4ish hours to get them all. do one thing, now go to other side of map do one tiny mini game, now hoof it back to other side of map 50% of the time the story is just going back and forth, sometimes even to almost the same spots + 50 minigames - most minigames are meh + and others are straight up stolen reskinned mario party games - 40$ price + worth 6$ that its already on sale for
Great couch coop game with 50 diverse mini games to play with friends, plus a little bit of story in adventure mode to dive into the world of Smurfs. I like both aspects of the game a lot.
Tja was soll ich sagen, aktuell null empfehlenswert.
The best Smurfs game ever! You can explore the whole village, the forest, Gargamel's house, the enchanted forest and more! Tons of characters, quests, treasures, collectibles awaits! Oh and you can play 50 different mini games right from the main menu, up to 4 players co-op!
The Smurfs – Village Party is a cheerful, family-oriented party game that blends light adventure exploration with a large collection of accessible mini-games. Balio Studio’s interpretation of the Smurfs universe leans heavily into its colorful, inviting charm, offering a game that is clearly designed to bring players of all ages together. From the moment you start, the tone is upbeat and friendly: Papa Smurf is preparing a grand celebration and tasks you, as a customizable young Smurf, with traveling across various regions to invite the entire village while keeping Gargamel’s mischief at bay. This narrative wrapper provides just enough structure to frame the experience without overshadowing the simple joy of playing through its activities. Adventure Mode serves as the backbone of the single-player experience. Here, you wander through different themed environments—lush forests, icy mountains, Gargamel’s murky territory, and the heart of the Smurf Village—collecting items, helping various Smurfs with small quests, and progressing toward the grand party. The environments are bright and visually faithful to the franchise, and character animations retain the expressive charm associated with Smurf media. While the adventure maps are generous in size and variety, their design can feel uneven at times. Some areas are vibrant and bustling with activity, while others appear sparse or underdeveloped, giving the exploration an inconsistent sense of life. Still, the mode succeeds in providing a playful, low-pressure context for discovering characters and unlocking costumes, collectibles, and new mini-games. The heart of the game lies in its Party Mode, which boasts 50 mini-games spanning a wide range of activities—racing, reflex challenges, memory games, accuracy tests, athletic contests, and more. Most mini-games are short, easy to understand, and designed to be picked up immediately by newcomers. Their visual humor and simplicity make them especially enjoyable for younger players or mixed groups who want a casual, lighthearted competition. While not all mini-games are equally memorable, the sheer variety ensures that each session feels fresh, and the fast pace encourages repeated play. With local multiplayer support for up to four players, the game shines brightest as a couch-co-op centerpiece, ideal for family gatherings or casual social play. However, The Smurfs – Village Party is not without limitations. Experienced gamers may find that many mini-games lack mechanical depth or long-term challenge, making the experience feel more like a compilation of short distractions than a competitive party title built for mastery. The absence of online multiplayer is a notable drawback, especially for players who hoped to enjoy party sessions with friends remotely. Additionally, the adventure mode’s ambition sometimes exceeds its polish—minor camera quirks, inconsistent texture quality, and occasionally repetitive side quests can interrupt the flow. None of these issues are severe enough to break the game, but they do highlight that the title is best enjoyed with modest expectations. Ultimately, The Smurfs – Village Party succeeds as a warm, approachable, and family-friendly party game. Its upbeat tone, colorful presentation, and wide range of mini-games make it a delightful choice for younger players or for families wanting a shared gaming experience without steep learning curves. Those seeking deep mechanics or long-term progression will likely find it too simple, but players looking for a light, joyful romp through the Smurf universe will appreciate the charm and accessibility it offers. As a casual multiplayer experience, it provides exactly what it promises: a lively village party where everyone can join in the fun. Rating: 7/10
Local Coop does not work with Microsoft XBOX Controllers on PC. Other Smurf games like Kart or Dreams work perfectly with the controllers. Village Party does not which contradicts the complete mission of a party game.
La storia di questo party game è così: Grande puffo manda un invito ad un puffo che tempo addietro aveva lasciato il villaggio. Al suo ritorno, trova il villaggio in subbuglio perchè fremono i preparativi per il grande party del villaggio. Solo che i preparativi vanno molto a rilento, perciò tocca a voi dare una mano al villaggio per far partire la festa. Il gioco invece è un party game con un'ottima sezione single player, ossia l'avventura, in cui voi dovete affrontare sia missioni che vincere i vari mini giochi per aiutare i puffi a completare i preparativi. Ma ci si metterà in mezzo anche gargamella, il mago che scopre una pozione che, guarda caso, uno dei ingredienti sono i puffi. Quindi, non solo dovete aiutare gli omini blu a preparare il party, ma anche a fare attenzione nel non venir catturato dal mago in questione. Il gioco, in modalità avventura è un open world che non riguarda solo il villaggio dei puffi, ha anche altri biomi tutti connessi tra loro senza caricamenti di sorta, come la palude, il lago comprensivo di drago che si fa una nuotata, c'e anche la foresta proibita insieme al villaggio delle puffe, non manca ovviamente la stamberga del mago. Il tutto lo potete vedere tramite la mappa richiamabile con il tasto select, qui nella mappa ci saranno molti segnalini tra collezionabili ( che possono essere rifornimenti: Tra cui puffbacche, cotone et altro che vi serviranno sia nel costruire la vostra nuova casa nel villaggio, che creare dei costumi dal puffo sarto.) Missioni sia di storia che secondarie, minigiochi sia di storia che opzionali, tutti si vincono facilmente essendo l'ia settata sul facile in questa modalità. Infine, cicogne che fanno il verso al teletrasporto per i vari biomi di cui è composto l'o.w. L'open world in questione è bello colorato e fluido, si vede che siamo nel cartone in questione, sarebbe bello avere dei livelli standard anzichè minigiochi, mantenendo l'open word così colorato. Peccato che ciò mostra il fianco a bug vari ma leggeri, tante che i programmatori hanno messo l'opzione, nel caso il personaggio si blocca da qualche parte o va sotto il terreno, che usandola vi riporta al villaggio senza problemi. C'e anche uno strano input lag in cui premendo il tasto di salto, il puffo salta in ritardo. Fortunatamente solo nell'o.w ^^; Altro "problema" è la mancanza del doppiaggio in italiano ma è sottotitolato. E nell'o.w c'e solo un'unica musica. Quella dei puffi, sia se state nella palude, che fate visita al villaggio delle puffe o alla stamberga del mago. La longevità della modalità avventura è assicurata, ci vorranno almeno 10 ore per pulire tutto da tutti i collezionabili e per comprare tutti i vestiti oltre alla vostra casa. Una volta finita l'avventura si sblocca il menù del village party in cui dovete affrontare tutti i minigiochi sperando di fare il record e quindi avere le medaglie doro. Ve ne servono 30 per sbloccare l'ultimo costume, tutti i minigiochi con medaglia d'oro per l'ultimo achievement. Le altre due opzioni sono sfida, per giocare o contro la cpu o contro amici su uno dei minigiochi, infine puffali tutti, la famosa maratona in cui decidete di giocare una sfilza di minigiochi uno dietro l'altro in modo casuale, solo in queste due modalità si può impersonare uno dei altri puffi come: Grande puffo o la sua versione al femminile o quattrocchi o altro. Sono quasi una ventina i puffi "giocabili", il resto, sono tutti i costumi che sbloccate in modalità avventura. Per finire. Se vi piacciono i puffi e volete giocare un avventura che vi immerge nel villaggio allora è il gioco che fa per voi, ma vi devono piacere i party game. Il villaggio nel gioco: Puffi dreams è molto più piccolo. Altrimenti, se vi interessa un gioco più platform o simile, allora questo titolo non fa per voi. Ma a 20 euro e vista la longevità, si può chiudere un occhio dal fatto che è un party game. ^_^ P.s: E' possibile fare il record anche a livello normale, sono più fattibili i record rispetto a livello difficile in cui in alcuni mini giochi bisogna fare il perfect. ^^; P.s 2: Anche se puffetta è selezionabile con due vestiti diversi, l'animazione è la stessa. Annusare un fiore invisibile con il secondo vestito, non è propriamente bello. ^^;
