having my sweet elderly couple run a sweat shop wasn't enough - i needed the extreme violence mod to rlly bring my vision to life. what a time to be alive.

Trash game that influences people to be confused about the gender they are. This game is CRAP.

I've been a long time Sims franchise player, with easily over a few thousand hours across all platforms and most entries, and can confidently without a doubt say this is not only the weakest entry of the franchise, but also completely killed any interest or hope I have for the future of this franchise (aside from the fact EA sold out to a Saudi company). This game was a step down from the Sims 3 in many regards, but the fact it totals you nearly 2 THOUSAND dollars to own the complete game is insanity. Do yourself a favor and go play the Sims 3 or any other Sims game for that matter.

I used to love this game before they forced you to have the EA app and now it stops me from playing on linux because of this arbitrary requirement. what a waste of 26 GB of an unoptimised game that has this many requirements to even play, like 3rd-party DRM: EA online activation and EA app software installation and background use required. is ridiculous and requiring a 3rd-Party EA Account which requires agreement to a 3rd-party EULA and EA Play subscription requires acceptance of EA Play Terms all for a singleplayer game that released 12 years ago.
