I've had TS4 since launch, before it was even free and it was already a huge let down from the beginning. The only saving grace I could give it are from the millions of Mods and Custom Content that Simmers have made over the years, that are laughably better in quality than anything EA has managed to throw out for more than a full DECADE. The fact that you need to have expansion packs to have ANY fun in the vanilla game is embarassing, which aren't even worth the price tag half of the time. All the features that were supposed to be in the base game already are put under a paywall. I'm honestly glad I didn't pay for ANY expansion packs, considering half of the time the DLCs are buggy and half-baked. All criticisms people had back then and now STILL applies. The EA buyout is the final blow as to why you should not ever support this game nor anything from this company ever again. If you're still out here saying that you'll still buy the packs in spite all the news surrounding it, you need a reality check.
