The Roottrees are Dead

If you like puzzles, and especially if you enjoy doing genealogy, this game is great. The clues are there, you just have to think everything through and look at all the angles. Sometimes something doesn't seem like a clue at first look. Keep looking. Totally fun. I completely ignored what I was supposed to be doing because I didn't want to stop playing. But I did finish it, so now I can get back to work. Phew!

Engaging Obra Dinn-a-like

这是完形填空游戏，而不是推理游戏。检索一坨，还不能复制。 故事毫无吸引力，工作就需要大量检索的玩这个游戏和上班一样。

比较有特色的游戏，找资料然后推理家族关系。本体比较好玩，狂热不太好玩。比较考验记忆力，而且中文版是“姓 名”的形式显示角色名字，而非我们习惯的“名 姓”来显示外国人名字，经常玩着玩着明明线索对的推理也对的然后因为这个卡一下，离大谱了。好几个隐藏成就藏的不看攻略根本找不着。只能说冲着这个查找资料推理的模式很独特打高分了。建议是买了之后一口气玩完，不然隔一阵子打开就只会“这谁，这又是谁”了。

finished first part and in the beginning of second part, without any spoilers, I just want to say the secret was so stupid. game started pretty strong but the game doesn't have the logic it think it does. without spoiling much the timeline is just stupid for the narrative that the game developers went for. I mean the reaction of atleast 90% of the population at the time would be the same to the family founder. the gameplay loop is fun and deduction and exploring the web for info but man the story doesn't hold any value for itself the more I solve the more it is the "bad man in the 60s did bad thing" IDK, Love some part of it and HATE other parts. overall 6/10. I hope the second part ending could be better than first. if not, won't recommend the game

Could not put this down. Absolutely consumed my existence.
