As something of a survival game veteran at this point, this is gentle PvE. You will at some point die because you forgot to take water, but you won't get spawn killed by the ravenous bug blatter beast, or megapiranha. It's really nice. There are moments of mild peril, and if you're after wild excitement this isn't the game for that day, but the way it unfolds is a nice rhythm, you're never too far off another goal and you'll be sidetracked by something shiny long before you worry about it. There are pretty moments, cute moments, surprising moments, slightly dark moments. I am having a lot of fun with it.

Very fun. The way the planets change gradually is awesome and beautiful. Hours of hours of gameplay, not easy but not too hard, a game mixing survival with exploration and crafting. And once you think you are done with your main planet and discover what you can do on the moons around your planet... Really good.

I just broke 400 hours in Planet Craft. Previously, I had all 55 achievements. I recently started playing again and decided to play through the base game to get reacquainted with the controls and strategies before playing the other planet scenarios. I had spent some time playing Icarus and 7 Days to Die. I would rate these games as my top 3 solo games. I am a senior player over 70 and I like the mix of discovery, creation, managing assets and reasonable challenges. I do tweak the games to be a little easier because I am not as quick as I used be!

Whenever I see that a game has 'Overwhelmingly Positive' reviews I take it with a grain of salt, but with this game I can only wholeheartedly agree. Me and my friends started playing today after I tested the demo a little bit a while back and we played for a solid 9 hours straight. No breaks. Don't get this game if you have important ♥♥♥♥ to do afk. Dedicate some time for it.
