This game is really great because it’s packed with activities, like building a base (sort of like a house) and discovering all kinds of little alien creatures. Plus, new planets are added regularly. Planet Crafter offers two planets as DLC, but even if you play without spending any money, there are still some really cool planets available; personally, I love Skeo because there’s a multitude of little things to do there, such as melting ice to find chests inside, terraforming, and a cute lion the 10e creatures. Thanks for reading!
PRETTy fun (caps lock)
I had a blast converting all the environments. I also liked the lore on the main planet, but it was super lacking in the moons and expansions. For me not a big deal as I really like the actual game play itself. I would like to see it grow larger to a full solar system with dynamic trade elements between each planet/moon and create a galactic trade play style.
Prime is great, Humble is okay at best, Toxicity is boring after first two. Anyway, can recommend the game. DLSS5 works great and is a must
I was turned off initially by the colour palette and the busyness of the screenshots, and a sense that this couldn't be nearly what Subnautica was. None of that was wrong, exactly, but this is obviously its own game and is full of its own suprises and new ideas. Not the narrative tension or mystery of Subnautica, nor the beauty, but it's a vibrant and interesting world, with mystery and more importantly dynamism. I've been consistently surprised by how much the teraforming affects the game world and mechanics--far more than just visual and stats bumps. It takes a while to work out where the magic is in this game--it feels relatively mundane at first. But as your planet starts to really /change/ you'll likely be hooked.
it's nice
