Think twice before buying this game for a PC - particually if you are in Australia and you like multiplayer. . Once you get deeper into the game - every aspect of all that is around you has to be loaded from the 'Steam Cloud' which is often fustratingly very slow. I have a high end dedicated PC with a suitable highend graphics card - connected to a highspeed fiber optic cable internet connection. . Over 1/4 of the time (if not 1/3 of it) that I have played this game - has been frustratingly spent waiting for the next bit of graphics etc etc to load from the 'Steam Cloud' . I actually play another simpler game on another computer while I wait for the 'next bit' to load for this game. Even just saving or exiting the game is very slow and painfull. . The Multiplayer system is far more limited than Steam or the devlopers will ever tell you. It does not support cross-platform multiplayer even with PC type/based consoles and the multiplayer systen does not tell you if there are even any games you may be able to join out there. . It could be great - if it wasnt so slow and all people could play together or join a public game. . If you have plenty of time to waste and only want to play single player - then the game may be worth it to you. It has a decent backstory and plenty to do and find (once it loads the next bit)
FUN AND AMAZING CONTENT, ALWAYS SOMETHING TO DO!

It's definitely a slow-burn game. It's less about fighting enemies and more about fighting the environment and survival. There is something very nostalgic about watching a planet change over time due to your terraforming efforts. At times, it can feel like you are not progressing. This is a very long-burn game, so take time to plan out. Sometimes you need an extra boost. Early-game exploration is absolutely recommended, and be careful where you build your base. I am compelled to get every achievement, and with each playthrough, it gets easier as I learn strategies. It's a nice, relaxing game to play in my downtime.
Really fun game

It starts off terrible. Bland, boring, annoying. Terrible graphics and janky movement. Stick with it though and in a couple of hours the process beds in and the real experience begins. A true breath of fresh air. Highly recommend.
Progress can be made by a novice, but optimizing your methods provides a good replay value in the game.
