Satisfactory with environmental engineering ? Count me in!
Great game
Overall, the concept of the game is good and it has potencial, but the execution fell short. That said, i still liked the game, it's probably a 7 out of 10.
its chill. btw jesus loves you
It's an incremental game. It's not without its fun, and I accept that all games in this genre are Progress Quest to some degree, but this one is very blatantly so. I am frankly baffled by the reviews. Despite its supposedly low minimum system requirements, I have to run it in a godawful low res and settings to get a frame rate that's playable. It's badly optimised and has the feel of something still in early access. I will still play it, but it's not the great game the review ratio would have you believe,
This is really fun! I reccomend buying this game.
After more than 700 hours, this game still gives me emotions, a sense of discovery, and pure joy. Recently, after all this time, I discovered a new animal — and I was incredibly happy! The fact that a game can still surprise me after 700 hours is something truly special. From the very beginning, I was fascinated by the concept of terraforming. Honestly, I was tired of post-apocalyptic worlds. In The Planet Crafter, I get to watch a planet come alive before my eyes, slowly transforming from a barren, rocky place into a beautiful paradise. There is something indescribable about reaching a new terraformation stage and suddenly realizing that the sky has turned blue, moss has appeared on the slopes, and life is gradually spreading across the planet. Secret locations and collectibles bring me a special kind of joy too. I am building my own museum and collecting every figurine and poster I can find! I absolutely love this game, and I am very grateful to the developers for creating such a wonderful experience. You can truly feel how much effort, creativity, and imagination have been put into it. I have really enjoyed all the DLCs and the moons, and I am looking forward to future updates and paid DLCs. I also really love the updated sky! I honestly can't stop taking screenshots of it. It makes the world feel even more beautiful and alive. Personally, I would love to see birds in the future, a greater variety of genes, more planets, and more building pieces. I would especially like to see more window options for circular buildings and curved structures! After spending so much time in the game, I would also love to see more reasons to continue developing and improving a planet after reaching the late game. New long-term goals, discoveries, building options, and ways to make each planet feel more alive would add even more replayability and make me want to keep coming back. Thank you for this wonderful creation. I wish you lots of inspiration and hope that even more players will discover and enjoy this amazing game! 💚
I'm not the biggest fan of games set in space and there's mechanics in this that I normally don't gravitate towards, but it seemed fun enough to play with my friends. I was wrong. Wrong about it only being fun "enough", I mean. The aspects I thought I would dislike are somehow exactly the mechanics I've been drawn to while playing. Everything is put together in such a way that you forget why you thought you might not have liked parts of it. And everything you do contributes at least /something/ to the main goal, so especially in a group it's nice to have everyone doing whatever they want in the moment and still feel like you're all working on the same thing together. At the same time there's a lot of room for minmaxing if that's what you're into, and I'm excited to replay the game on my own after we finish our current playthrough and apply all the things I've learned. I wanna collect all the thiiiiiiings! Every session we go "surely we're nearing the end now right" and then the game hits us with a completely new concept to explore. There is also tremendous screenshot potential, all the different areas look so beautiful and because the landscape changes as you terraform you can go back to places you've already been and they'll be beautiful for a completely different reason. Reducing it to the word "screenshot" feels like a bit of an insult honestly, it really is more like photography to me. Genuinely fantastic game.
