About
The Permanent Residence pulls you into the unsettling world of an isolated bungalow shrouded in mystery and dread. You step into the shoes of a traveling musician, stranded after your shows are suddenly canceled. Desperate and tempted by a 50% discount, you take up an offer to stay in this strange house, blissfully unaware of the horrors that await.
The once-quiet halls now hum with whispers, and the walls seem to hide secrets aching to be uncovered. As you piece together strange clues, the bungalow’s chilling history unfolds—a past filled with rituals, vanishings, and a dark presence that refuses to let go. Soon, you realize that walking out the door might not be as simple as walking in.
In Souls Kept, the first chapter of "The Permanent Residence" series, you take on the role of a musician drawn into the chilling mystery of an isolated bungalow. With only cryptic diary entries and unsettling photographs left behind by a vanished wedding photographer to guide you, you’ll piece together the terrifying events that have cursed this house.
Can you uncover its secrets before it’s too late? Will you find a way out, or will you become yet another soul ensnared in its dark, unrelenting grip?
More episodes are planned for the future—each one delving deeper into the cursed legacy of The Permanent Residence.
Atmospheric Exploration: Roam through an intricately detailed house filled with clues and eerie ambiance.
Narrative-Driven Clues: Discover diary entries from previous residents, like a vanished wedding photographer, to piece together the house’s dark history.
Paranormal Encounters: Experience haunting events that escalate as you uncover the bungalow’s secrets.
Immersive Sound Design: Feel the terror through subtle whispers, unsettling noises, and a soundscape that heightens dread.
Psychological Horror: Navigate a looping nightmare of fear, guilt, and despair that blurs the lines between reality and the infernal.
Descent into Hell: Witness a twisted depiction of hell as the house reveals its true, horrifying nature.

+Well at least I didn't pay for it. -Oddly decorated house (different eras of decorations, restaurant grade dishwasher in kitchen of home, different kid in each photo even there's supposedly only one kid that died, strange items just laying about like gerry cans in the bathroom, odd room off the bedroom with just a dresser in it, strange adult books in kids room). This may not be important to some, but it's off-putting to me. -Extremely little interaction with environment. -No puzzles or thinking involved. -It's pretty much a walking simulator. -It wasn't even scary except for a couple jump scares that got me. (I admit though, the "spooky" aspect to some is probably my living room decor minus the writing on the wall. I just found the red hallway at the end cool and somewhere I'd want to hang out.) TBH, I found this a total waste of time and I'm mad I just didn't eat dinner on time instead. Making a grilled cheese in a Toastabag™ I just found going through my dead mother's things brings me more enjoyment than this game ever will.
It's pretty short and simple; nothing groundbreaking here, but if you just want a straightforward quick horror where you wander about a house and learn about it's spooky occupant (with a couple of jumpscares thrown in) then you can't really go wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3OSFXS6tS4

Это небольшая инди-новелла (в жанре «визуальный роман») с элементами хоррора и детектива.
Jogo é muito interessante, assistam a gameplay completa lá no meu canal... Será que teremos mais um capítulo? Esperamos ansiosamente 😁 https://youtu.be/yDFMf_1b9Hs?si=mclKXeS2bVKynIYc
I mean...I can't see how this was the first installment for the series considering this was the biggest waste of 15 minutes. Nothing happened. What a letdown. Sure a few small jumpscares but there was no point.
Pretty big waste of time, also no way to turn off head bob, so the whole time playing I was just feeling very sick.

made me uncomfortable so it's good
I liked it until I was stuck in your room and I couldn't find a way out.So I still like the game
