Finished the game. The combat is shallow, and it clearly wants to be Journey, but all that could be forgiven if they didn't make the choice to have the awfully written narrator. You can turn him off, but what does that leave? Pretty pictures, what you can get from the trailer.
Best niche and underrated game i have ever played.
Magnifique petit jeu, mignon et touchant !
Art style like Spirit of the North…narration like Say No More. It’s simple and free. I originally played this for 16 minutes when it came out and decided it wasn’t for us but my daughter saw it in my library and went for it all these years later. In level three we were still showing as under attack although all enemies are gone and we couldn’t push the boulder…resetting to last checkpoint we cleared the enemies and the prompt to push the boulder came up. A free game’s always going to have bugs.
Fairly decent game. It's a good way to pass the time and it was actually enjoyable smashing through waves of humans. I'd have wished there were other obstacles like maybe other ice age predators or a blizzard, but I had fun, and I also liked the narration :)
Fun little freeware game. You play as a Mammoth guiding her baby across several locales to reach the last tribe of mammoths. Along the way you fight human hunters of several classes: melee, spear-men, and ones with torches. You can heal with a fruit and the game has generous checkpoints. The narrator, while a bit annoying, is really the core of the game holding it together. The game is an escort mission, and the narrator keeps you engaged with his commentary, the voice acting isn't great but it's acceptable. Have fun.
