About
Why the game is free
This was the first game we ever made, so we were inexperienced, but we’re still proud of what we created, despite its flaws. That’s why we decided to make the game free—so anyone who’s curious can give it a try.
We’re now called Professional Villains and have learned a lot since making this game. We hope you’ll check out our other titles, such as Security: The Horrible Nights, Anglerfish, or The ER: Patient Typhon. 😊

Get into the Christmas spirit with the world’s biggest goblin in a blast from the past, 2D arcade shoot 'em up. Fight evil pet pinetrees from Siberia. Air-battle on a deadly pooping Rudolf. Float around in space and much much more crazy stuff.
Play through the whole adventure locally with a friend
Unique weapons and power-ups (like shots that grow and shrink)
The Giant Goblin will comment on if he thinks you control him well or badly
Shoot an innocent bird just because you are a jerk
Don’t forget the deadly pooping reindeer
"If you’re after a festive, arcade shooter that truly challenges all that play, then look no future than The Night Christmas Ended. It’s cheaper than a selection box, it’s fun to play and it’s easy to get the hang of it, and its ludicrous characters, daft plot and foul language makes it a game that really has to be seen to be believed."

I have completed the game on silver. After they did the first patch I have enjoy my time with the Goblin. Here is my pros and cons: The pros -Epic Christmas music! -When you get a cool power-up that make your enemies explode in so many little pieces around you so that you can not see yourself. Feels awesome. -That the game varies as much as it does. -Death battle against a perverse elf. So weird and fun. -Being able to choose your own ending. The cons -There are some small errors in the game, most have no great influence. However, on the third level on the third world, there was an error in which the game continued for 15 seconds after the level was supposed to be over. Worth noting that I was suddenly invisible in those 15 seconds, and could be hit. -The world where you fly on Rudolf's okay, but not my cup of tea. It is not as fun as the rest of the game. My conclusion: The Night Christmas Ended is a nice little Christmas game. I plan to play it a little on gold also. I will play it again next year, just to hear the cool music it is worth playing again. I hope that the developer has corrected some of the errors at that time.

In this unforgettable 2D adventure you'll team up with the Giant Goblin to save Christmas. Shoot all the evil candy because the only good candy, is a dead candy! Even when they are shaped like a bat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irXXshk3xr4
This little 2D shooter was a pleasant surprise filled with unique charm. As someone who doesn't normally play arcade shoot-em-ups like this one, I had a blast and felt like I could potentially warm up to the genre. Pros:

Great sense of humor.
Wasn't afraid to experiment with mechanics.
Subtle foreshadowing of what kinds of mechanics were to come through cutscene dialogue.
The art for each level is well done, with most actually having an effect on how the level is played.
Kick butt soundtrack if you love Christmas tunes :D
You can choose to play what difficulty to pay on, which was big for me as a beginner.
Cons

Still one or two sound glitches exist, but the developer is aware and honest about them.
You can tell the game was designed for a gamepad over keyboard, but it wasn't a big issue at all. I only note it here because it was noticeable.
Navigating the progress map can be a bit confusing at first.
The one thing I loved most about my time with this game was the studio's willingness to play with mechanics. Each level introduces new mechanics, and while a good portion are level/world specific, most of them actually build upon what earlier levels establish. This actually teaches you new ways to play the game at later levels, which was really nice. For example, one level makes use of having to track a target via sound (wear headphones for that part!). And while that was pretty late in the game it did make me aware that all of the enemies have certain sounds before they attack. The difficulty of the game didn't feel too easy or too hard either. Now I only played on bronze (easy level) so far, but for a beginner in the genre if felt right. Nothing was handed to me and I still failed quite a bit. But the game did a good job of giving you context clues to help you figure things out. At the end of the day it was a great run! I definitely see myself replaying this to try and get into silver. Doubt I'll ever beat gold. I'm too noob for that :P
Holy CRAP it's good to see this game again! For those that don't know, this is the for-Steam redo of a game called "A Goblin's Xmas Tale." It featured the same gameplay style and story as this, however THIS version contains new features, such as: Local 2-player Controller support New levels More Goblin banter Difficulty modes And more! If you hate the goody-two-shoes Christmas stories out there, and want a laugh, DEFINITELY pick this up!
This game was my way of getting into the Christmas spirit and let me tell you, it was awesome. The game kinda reminds me of Buster Bros but with a twisted story and sometimes, weird game mechanics and politically incorrect humor. I've beaten it on Bronze and Silver modes, just beaten Level 2-2 on Gold mode. As per the game dev's request in the opening cut-scene to be shown a Let's Play of this game, here ya go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlKiBvELWVU
The Night Christmas Ended is a sincerely, if badly made 2D retro pixel arcade shooter with a Christmas theme. Control a goblin who can only shoot at 45 degree angles on a single screen side view arena as various enemies fall from the sky and bounce from the sides to try kill you. Thankfully your bullets bounce off the walls and ceiling, this helps to counter the limited firing angles you get. It's a very simple, shallow experience. The only shining light in the gloom of mediocrity in this game is the mediocre amateur voice acting liberally seeded through the game, which, while averagely delivered, is at least kind of funny. But if I wanted funny, I'd watch a Bill Hicks standup or something. Most people don't get their yuks from 2D retro pixel arcade shooters. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. PC gamers will be insulted by the presence of console peasant children's toy controller prompts, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. The Night Christmas Ended is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
Altın arayışında dünyanın en büyük gobliniyle takım ol ve tam bir savaşçıya dönüş.
The most non-PC game I ever played... An I loved it! hahaha Get ready for quirky humor, good jokes and fast gameplay. The voice acting is super good and a great amount of story told. Be aware: Possible betrayal in the end...?
