The Mutineer is a stealth oriented PvP game that takes place in the engine room of a massive warship. Take control of The Mutineer to sabotage the ship and blend in with a crowd of engineers. Another player controls The Overseer, attempting to kick the Mutineer off the ship before it's too late!

Originally a $7.99 game that went Free. Got old quick. Needs a few more options and variations in the gameplay.
Before I played The Mutineer, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
10/10! Very polished game, I've showed this to multiple friends of mine in various group settings and everyone was entertained trying to find which one the Mutineer was. We took turns playing and led to a fun night!

Just... Fantastic and extremely underrated.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There are no formal online matchmaking servers, the only multiplayer on offer is local co-op or Steam Remote Play Together.
This is a badly made PvP platespinning game where you see one room on a ship and one player messes everything up while the other tries to restore everything to order. The developer didn't bother with online matchmaking or anything, so this was a huge failure because nobody wanted to play it. It's a dead PvP game, and it's time for us to have a post-mortem to see some of the reasons this failed. Most PvP games on Steam fail. Very few of them ever go viral. This game failed because the developer expected it to become "virally" popular without creating any actual reason or compelling features. This doesn't do anything that other games already do better. PvP games face extreme competition, PvP gamers have plenty to choose from and they gravitate to where all the other players are. This game didn't offer anything to peel those PvPers away from the PvP games they're already invested in. It had no upfront cost, but gamers still rejected it. There is no real single player content here. The developer thought other players could replace actual storytelling and level design. That was a bad bet to make, and yeah, the developer lost. Hard. Without a player base or meaningful solo content (storytelling, narrative, you know, what makes games like GTA famous), the game has nothing to offer. Other players are not a substitute for doing the job of a developer and creating meaningful game content. The developer of this game couldn't figure out how to add proper online networking, so they expect players to all drive to one house and sit next to each other in the same room. Using Steam "Remote Play Together" is just a band-aid for that huge technical failure here. Not having online matchmaking for a game that requires other players is a sign of incompetence and it makes this valueless... no wonder it failed. These 3D graphics were designed to run on smartphone hardware, and it shows. The polygon counts are low, the textures are blurry at any reasonable resolution, and the whole thing lacks the visual fidelity PC gamers have every right to expect. Designing for mobile and shipping to PC without upgrading the assets is a lazy shortcut. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Next is pricing and what value this has for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $5 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Even as a free game, this couldn't find an audience. With a peak of only 5 players, it's clear the Steam community took one look and walked away. They literally couldn't pay people to spend time playing this. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
