Bad performance, visually uncomfortable camera settings (mouse smoothing, motion blur, limited look vertical angle), clunky movement (cant run after "quick" turns), weapons break, npc ai is dumb, prologue mission exists for no reason, next-to-the-wall weapon clipping with melee weapons(why???), overall everything feels extremely sluggish and uncomfortable.

Honestly, this game has potential. I enjoy the idea of it. Not many Cthulhu-esque games set in the age of discovery are out there and this is scratching that itch pretty good in that respect. It's got a good spooky vibe of what can happen and it's fun with friends. My only gripe is that it is in need of some TLC with updates. Combat is a bit clunky and hard to get use to at first. Maybe a HUD that tells more than just your health bar, like a sanity meter or a compass to at least help you tell what direction you're facing unless that's just what the developers want since you can buy a map and some other things to assist you in missions. This could be a user end issue but my mic and my friend's mic's were very quiet to the point of barely hearing them, did try to mess with the settings and had little success and my microphone is normally pretty good and projecting and picking up my voice in other programs. The game is somewhat hard and I like the challenge but can't tell that's because of the clunkiness or the game itself as it is intended to be. Overall, I think this game is worth watching out for but, it does need some QoL and other updates to make it worth the price they are asking for when it's not on sale. Otherwise, I wait until it is on sale to snatch it up.

The game got a good feeling for the first 5 hours but it became super boring very fast. Unfortunately the reasons not to play it for me are too many. 1 The game is badly optimized at the point where you need a high end pc to even start it (rtx 2070 barely runs it, a friend with the 1060 is basically playing a strange minecraft mod at 15 fps) 2 The forest is the only place where you game all the time. 3 there is no progression whatsoever, the game never tells you what to actually do to continue because there is nothing to do for level up or scale somehow. 4 Every run feels exactly the same, Same places, same things to do, same monsters, same weapon and treasures. 5 Why tf there are dlcs? The game feels unfinished at best, maybe a beta of some sort and there are dlcs? So basically this game got too many bad things to be considered playable for me and my group

This game is awesome to coop and was easy to find people to play with. Lots of fun.
