A Chilling Conquista Nightmare The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu delivers a breath of fresh air to the cosmic horror genre by dropping players into a brilliantly realized 17th-century Conquista setting. The atmosphere is simply unmatched—the oppressive, overgrown jungle looks absolutely stunning, making every step into the unknown feel genuinely hazardous. What Makes It Shine: Immersive Audio & Atmosphere: The spatial audio design is exceptional. Every rustle in the foliage and distant whisper adds to a constant sense of dread, delivering a genuine thrill and chills from start to finish. Sanity & Hallucinations: The sanity mechanics are a standout feature. The way the game handles visual and auditory hallucinations is cleverly executed, constantly making you question what is real and what is just in your head. Fantastic Co-op Experience: While terrifying alone, the game truly shines when played with friends. Sharing the descent into madness makes for unforgettable and intense gameplay sessions. The Verdict Unfortunately, the experience isn't completely spotless yet. There are still some lingering bugs and technical glitches present, but thankfully, they are not game-breaking and don't ruin the overall fun. If you are looking for an atmospheric, spine-chilling co-op horror with a unique historical backdrop and clever psychological mechanics, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is definitely worth diving into.
Если в игре что-то не так, то это Ктулху.

The barebones of something great is here. Impressive visuals, great audio design and some brilliant (albeit repetitive quickly) sanity effects. Progression is stale, there are very few uninteresting things to unlock, making the whole thing feel a little pointless and unfinished. There needs to be more mission types and map and enemy variety. Had this been an early access release it would have been an easy recommendation, but the boring progression mixed with very repetitive gameplay hold this one back for me. I hope the developer is able to keep the lights on and push the game forward. Huge potential is here.
This game has the best cursed jungle atmosphere that you can find. It definitely has some jank, mainly with hitboxes being frustrating sometimes, but after you get the hang of weapon attack patterns and how to deal with each enemy type then you can manage just fine. Never have i had to ask my friends "is that you" and "where did you go" every 5 minutes only to see a tree walk towards me or realise my team has turned into mist infront of my eyes. Would love to see some updates sorting out the jank, and definitely to add more areas and items to take, really want this story to continue. Fantastic game that people are giving way too hard a time to over very minor technical problems
it was fun with people definitely not a solo game
I ♥♥♥♥ myself. Never knew trees would be the scariest thing in this game..... Best game of the year!
I think it's a very unique game and does things that other games have not. It has a few bugs , I love that it's cross play. Definitely don't regret buying. Keep up the good work!
Great game and a ton of fun to coop. It is hard, and fighting is hard but in a way that makes it feel like a desperate and difficult fight for survival rather than a power fantasy of carving your way through hordes of zombies. The madness mechanics and monsters are surprising and hard to understand in a way that doesn't feel 'video-gamey'. Doesn't run the best but I have an old machine. Turning off motion blur, mouse smoothing and, camera smoothing helped a lot.
Crazy? I was crazy once. They left me on an island A haunted island A haunted island full of tentacles The tentacles made me crazy
