If You want to play in fast paced action coop-You won't find it here. If You want to have an atmospheric experience and You like me-love Cthulhu mythos, this is stuff for You.
W game the reviews saying the game is bad and incredibly buggy are absolute ass as i have encountered minimal bugs in my few hours of gameplay so far. I would highly recommend.
fun à plusieurs
Отвратительная игра
I love getting gaslighted while I play this game
I have so far enjoyed the game very much and it has been a fun game to play with friends in particular, the atmosphere and sanity system causing freaky and strange things to happen is really great and makes me want to explore more and causes many scares. I do wish that you were able to keep some of the items you found and not entirely rely on the contracts or that your upgrades for weapons would stay but it is still enjoyable to play.
Fun game with friends.
Pretty fun with homies
I really wish i liked this game. The setting, the style and everything about it screamed to me to enjoy it, but the reality of it all is that this game is missing a lot of its potential. I will say sound design and the schizophrenic aspects of it are really well done and the only positive. The combat: Slow, clunky and without charm. Make too much noise in an expedition and you will be swarmed by enemies basically dooming your run. so the alternative is to just play slow and quiet, which gets really boring after a while. And in harder difficulties there's an enemy that will just straight up one shot you, so if you are being attack and this thing spawns you are just dead. Each expedition starts to feel the same and all the loot you get in this "Extraction" game you don't get to keep so it feels defeatist and pointless. I really would like to progress my characters and get better equipment as go deeper into The Mound, but alas it all is just pick a contract, get the default gear, upgrade what you can in the anvil, which by the way sometimes bugs and wont let you leave the menu making you waste your tokens, then go into the mission, explore slowly, make the least amount of noise you can, find the objective or log book deep into the mission and then walk all the way back. i would not bother with the Ox Cart or keeping track of it other than to store your meaningless loot for the reward or to complete your contract as the Ox Cart AI and pathfinding movements are very slow and annoying. I understand 5 hours might be a bit too harsh to review a game with a No, but 5 hours is all i am willing to spend in this game at its current state. i wont keep an eye too close to it but if in a year i look this game up and its been fixed i will update my review. At the moment i will just recommend anyone on the fence about this game to save your $30 and buy something else.
