the game has nice plot. Very least plot holes. But the best parts are game design, 3d clues and my best of all, narrations. I really love the ending tbh.
i mark spoiler because there is a weakness that is the spoiler. they are 2 riddles that i find to be the hardest which i really don't like. are the Machine with 3 magnets and panels to cover that you have to precisely cover them and the mushrooms which you have to count how many mushrooms on the board. but you have to shine lights and then stop to determine the 4 words of "types of mushroom". especially to me as Vietnamese who just got 6.5 IELTS since it's too scientific.
It's good, buy it.
A very well written story with extremely high production value, especially in the art, animations and voice acting. I enjoyed the supernatural elements of the narrative that possessed just enough ambiguity to burrow into your mind and linger after the credits roll. The game is quite easy but of reasonable length (depending on how much you engage with the clues and suspects). Certainly well worth the price tag for the overall quality of the experience. The detective elements are overall lighter than games like Return of the Obra Dinn and the Golden Idol games but still satisfying and enjoyable despite their simplicity. Highly recommend.
Muy bueno, hubieron mejoras para esta entrega y yo creo que estuvieron bien implementadas, aunque el humor a cambiado utilizaron mayor cantidad de "word puns" que en ingles se entienden pero que en otros idiomas se pierde un poco la gracia.
My favourite game of 2026! Loved Tangle Tower, loved Secret of the Swamp, was so excited for Mermaid Mask and was not disappointed! Incredible design in all areas, fab music, and such fun object interactions. Amazing game from SFB, always a blast to see their mystids and recurring characters <3
Fantastic voice acting strong and engaging story fun dynamic between the leads great game over all
Is good. A very good game with fun puzzles and a compelling mystery, tied together with witty and punny humor.
SFB's sequel serves superb success, starring a cast of compelling characters, perfect puns, and a marvelous mystery. Alliteration aside, The Mermaid Mask is truly impressive and delightful: a more than worthy successor to Tangle Tower for existing fans, and a self-contained experience for new players (though there are plenty of little references to the previous games).
Great Game. All the characters are charming and entertaining. You want to click all interactions to see what they say and descriptions of items and people. Game doesn't have annoying adventure game tropes and helps you if you get stuck. Really enjoyed my time playing and think i'll go back and play Tangle Tower.
