The Mark of Robot is a game in the genre of adventure from the first person. You play as a robot of the old model. Only two types of weapons are suitable for him: a wrench and a Ray gun, which disconnects all complex electronics.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

good game
So, this is not a good game. With how unbalanced the combat is it feels more like a puzzle game than a shooter. (The wrench is basically useless btw.) It desperately needs a mouse sensitivity option and some more sound would be nice. That said it's free and the developers seem to have cared. It entertained me for 50 minutes. (That's the time it takes to beat.) so I'm giving it a thumbs up. PS: If you cant get over the wall with the jeep in the first level: The dead robot in front of it is a trampoline.
Overview:
'The Mark of Robot' is a first person shooter and is among one of the worst ones ever developed by an actual human being. The story goes like this: A company known as "E.D.E.N." started manufacturing robots and other machines for the sole purpose of construction and production. But soon after, the Ministry of Defense caught wind of their machines and were interested in contracting militarized versions of said machines. This gathered the attention of another party called "Dragon", a terrorist organization that executed an attack on E.D.E.N. with "S.I.N.", a virus they developed that reprogrammed machines essentially turning them into lethal automatons. Now what triggers me is why "E.D.E.N." and "S.I.N." were created as acronyms when they literally don't stand for anything. Probably to make them sound big and important like your typical "BIG CORPS!" but it honestly just comes off as rather stupid. But not as stupid as the games story which I'll get to in a bit. Let's just get this out of the way. You play as a robot that was able to fight the virus but you're still a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ one. You're of an older model and can only use two of the most useless and diabolical weapons ever unfurled in the name of science fiction. Not only that but your goal is to infiltrate the source of the virus and destroy it once and for all, saving what's left of humanity and preventing any further disasters from occurring. But here's the thing, the game doesn't even need to exist because the entire plot is so counter intuitive as it literally makes no sense. The developers literally state that it was possible to demolish the very building the killer machines were being made in stopping the endless mechanical threat but you know what their reason for not doing it was? Because the residents said no since they lived near the plant and could be caught in the explosion. I can't even begin to say how many things could be done to resolve this issue. The world is literally being taken over by robots and you're telling me you can't blow up the building doing it because a few people that live near the plant and said "no"? They're going to die anyways whether or not you blow up the damn building so the entire story is completely brainless and absurd. Instead they're throwing in a crappy robot with weapons as useful as a plastic spoon and pool noodle and expecting it to take on everything on its own and come out victorious (Spoiler:
it won't
).
Gameplay:
Good lord I never thought a first person shooter could play this bad. As mentioned, you're a robot that can only use two weapons and they're both ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than a horse on a high fibre diet. You have a wrench that's practically useless and a ray gun that's much of the same. The ray gun can at least kill enemies but it eats up so much energy it's almost impossible to progress through the game because ammo is scarce and you pretty much die in one hit. I made it to the second part of the game where I eventually ended up throwing in the towel because the alien looking enemies are almost impossible to kill. Assuming you have ammo to even fight them, you'd be lucky if you kill them before they kill you first. They're literally bullet sponges and take almost 7 shots to kill which doesn't sound like a lot but trust me, it is. Even looking at the screenshots on the store page, the developer has an abundance of ammo but there's no where in the game where you could obtain that much. Even if there was, there's still nothing stopping the aliens from whooping your pathetic robot ass into the floor since they only have to hit you once, but you have to hit them seven times, isn't that fair? After that encounter I couldn't even bring myself to play the rest of the game because it's quite literally impossible. If you somehow managed to beat the game, you deserve a medal. One made of solid gold and dog turds.
Controls:
Unsurprisingly ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Honestly going into the game initially, I thought it wouldn't be so bad but man did the developer impress me. Moving around alone is a pain in the ass because every physical thing you touch slows you down. The movement is slippery, crouching is almost non-existent and the overall UI can barely even keep itself afloat. Look, just because you have a license to use Unity assets, it does not make anything you create playable or polished. But perhaps the developer was in their right mind making it free because charging people money to play this monstrosity would be criminal.
Graphics:
If the graphics from 5 different crappy space games got thrown into a blender, this is what would probably come out. I can't even fathom the putrid visuals splattered throughout this game and I only experienced the first 5 minutes! All I had to do was check out the images on the store page to know just how bad they got since no one in their right mind would try and beat one of the hardest most ugliest games known to man. I honestly think it would've been better to just not have any screenshots at all because honestly, these are some of the worst graphics I've seen and that, is saying A LOT.
Audio:
Just as horrendous as the graphics; the perfect pair. Combine the earsplitting shooting sounds with the rest of the squad of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sounds you wish you never heard and you have a match made in [strike]heaven[/strike] hell. It's times like these where I wish they would've just opted out in the audio department and muted the entire game instead of half-assing it like they did with the rest of the game.
Conclusion:
'The Mark of Robot' is a first person shooter that's literally unbeatable and puts a serious dampening on the entire first person shooter catalog. With basically impossible enemies to kill, beyond terrible controls, audio and graphics paired with gameplay so boring and flawed, this is a game where if you forced a slave master to play it, their slaves would throw you into a fire.

Отвратительная игра любительского уровня - геймплей ни о чем, управление сделано через одно место. Не рекомендую...
