The pure RNG for completing a single level really kills it in my books. Didn't seem like a bad HOG though if you are just fine with that and not in the achievements or completion at all.
Cute hidden object game.
The story is cute. A bit basic, maybe, but cute. The only caveat I would add is that there should be a quick replay option or something available due to how the achivos are set up. Having to go back over and over again without any guarantee that I'll I have the objects I need on the list is a bit annoying. It was free, and it's cute, though, so that's why I'm not just not recommending it.

fun game keeps you occupied for a few hours
I have played this game through twice so far, and will so again and again, until all of the items are found for each of the scenes. With each play through, only 20 of the usually 39 to 41 potential hidden items will be presented to search for. Which of these items are presented is randomly generated each go round, thus the replay. The children's book storytelling reader can easily be skipped if you would rather not hear it again each time. The story itself is very charming and brief as you would expect, yet very well done. The hidden objects themselves are a mix; with some being very easy to find, while others may be a bit of a challenge, with varying degrees in between. I would not describe any as unfairly obscured, no more than with other HOG's I have played. In the scant few particular instances where so much of the item we are seeking is indeed covered by the scene, I have found that they tend to be items we have already had to seek at least one or more times before, so theoretically we would know what we are looking for. As to the very cleverly hidden items which tend to almost blend in with the grass, for instance, those present a welcome challenge to keep the game from being far too easy to complete. The effects of the wind and the sun also offer an additional element which lend to both a more immersive storytelling experience, as well as a bit of welcome distraction to help very mildly obscure the item search. As a former schoolteacher, I find it very believable that the story could have been written by a seven year old, and the artwork based upon the artwork of a young person. Naturally, the artwork might have been cleaned up a bit, and the higher challenges of the item search aspect would be added to make it more appealing to the HOG community. What I find troubling is the harshness of some of the comments that these young people have to see, simply because some preconceived expectations were not met. The gaming community as a whole generally tends to give leeway to our indie game devs, as we should, all I ask is that we perhaps consider these children as potential future game devs themselves at their very early stages. I say, "JOB WELL DONE!"
