The Left Behind

Seems decent enough for a zombie type game, the graphics are better than most of the genre, I even turned everything down to medium and it looked fine. The tutorial/ story? begins immediately with decent voice acting. Night came pretty fast since I spent the first few minutes getting my bearings and get used to the camera system. When moving the character turns with the camera, but standing stationary it moves around the character, felt a little weird at first but after a few minutes it was second nature. The Game current needs more basic Quality of Life features, such as a Save game, I didn't see that anywhere in the settings, nor did I find a map system of any kind, so when the tutorial say go find this or that, you have no point of reference, and in a game where night falls and your being hunted by zombies, having to search randomly to find a location in a place you never been before, is poor game mechanics. I held up in an utility closet, and thankfully they didn't open the door, still had to whack em when daylight came but the were like fish in a barrel. The zombies also seem to beline to your location, another tactic of these game I wish they would stop doing. Honing in to my general location is fine, but unless I make noise, having them come to my exact spot is bad design. Overall the game looks promising, thought I do think it was a bit early on the release. So while I'm going to give this a recommendation, I would say its more of a watch a wait if the the price of what amounts to a cup of coffee concerns you.
