About
Enter a world where the supernatural is natural. In this single-player, first-person, survival, horror game where spirits and people alike have existed together, for better or worse, since the dawn of man. Though, most seem to have forgotten what spirits and creatures lie just beyond the shadows. Their presence only remembered through folklore and stories passed down through the generations. Folklore that Jordan has heard since childhood. Stories they never really believed to be true....until now. Follow Grandpa's instructions, light all the fires, and Jordan just might make it out alive.

Respectable attempt at creating a versatile story, but that's about the only place I can follow your creative process. The rest seems to be full of unconvincing components, and then it quickly ends up as hard to recommend. A vast majority of the game consists of stock assets from the most overused Horror Engine kit, and then the audacity to slap the store tag for Survival Horror on it, come on now... Well, since all the story/tasks are delivered on the same premise, through the stock assets, this inescapably also means a clunky delivery of those. Along with this, it suffers from preposterous AI behavior/animations, also boosting some of the elements that already serves a pretty unconvincing experience. I'm not sure if this is a part of your attempt at creating an atmosphere, but the constant sound of wolves growling next to me, no matter if there were any there or not, quickly became super annoying. On top of that, when wolves are killed, at least you'd hope they would stop making noises, but they will continue to growl and the sound cues of their footsteps will play for 5 more seconds after killing them, really not sure why this is a thing. At least I can berate that the optimization is good; getting good frames throughout most of the game. The rest is a poor attempt and a great lack of substance, and as such, I can't recommend it.
