What's christmas without the joy of stealing from others. You spend christmas stealing from a haunted house unknownly. You tread the house carefully but are soon plaqued by the horrors inside. https://youtu.be/BcXla_w7ymc
🧭 Gameplay e struttura Tecnicamente, The Last Gift è un walking simulator horror con elementi psicologici. ⭐ Valutazione complessiva ✅ The Last Gift è un horror natalizio compatto, atmosferico e sorprendentemente curato. ------------- 🎁🔧 REVIEW — The Last Gift A short, tense and surprisingly elegant Christmas horror, making the appropriate proportions that obviously we are not faced with a triple A The Last Gift is a Christmas micro‑horror developed by AIO_Games, set on a Christmas night that was supposed to be a simple opportunity to raid a seemingly empty house… but quickly turns into a claustrophobic nightmare. The premise is simple and works: you come in to steal, but someone —or something— has no intention of letting you go. Non-essential spoiler: Sneaking silently but starting all the fireworks at the back of the house, hilarious. 🧭 Gameplay and structure Technically, The Last Gift is a horror walking simulator with psychological elements. Gameplay is essential, but calibrated to maintain constant tension: exploring a dark and creepy house minimal but significant environmental interactions linear progression, without fillers fast pace, with events gradually increasing the pressure The running time is short — about 30–60 minutes, but perfectly adequate being an indie production 🎨 Graphics and atmosphere One of the strongest points of the game. The house is carefully rendered: soft lights, deep shadows, environments that seem familiar but “wrong” just enough to make you feel observed. The contrast between Christmas aesthetics and psychological horror is handled intelligently: The game doesn't bombard you with free jumpscares, but builds an atmosphere that brings growing unease upon you. Some players have criticized the use of “simple” jumpscares, but overall the visual system holds up very well. 🔊 Audio and sound design Sound design works in silence, like a predator. MInimal, but effective. It doesn't accompany, it insinuates. Creaks, distant noises, sudden changes in silence: everything is designed to make you doubt every step. 🎭 Narration The story is deliberately essential: you enter a house to steal, but you discover that you are not alone. The narrative force lies in the environmental details and the construction of tension. The game doesn't explain everything to you — and that's a good thing. a crescendo of paranoia and regret that accompanies the player until the end. It leaves you with that feeling of “unsaid” that continues to work inside you even after the credits roll. 🎁 The ending Spoiler-free, of course. But the ending is one of those moments that makes you realize that the game had a plan from the beginning. It's a simple, elegant twist that closes the circle with a sharp blow. ⭐ Overall rating ✅ The Last Gift is a compact, atmospheric, and surprisingly polished Christmas horror. It doesn't pretend to be a great title: it wants to offer you a short, intense, and disturbing experience, and it succeeds with style. For those who love psychological horror, short experiences, and distorted Christmas atmospheres, it's a little gift to unwrap in the dark.

It takes a good bit for me to leave a bad review on a game especially an indie game. I am not sure why but every time I loaded into this game the graphics where SUPER grainy to the point I was actually squinting to try and see better in the dark house. I played another game before and after this game and both looked great so it wasn't anything to do with my PC. I also tried adjusting the in game graphic settings in several different combinations to see if I could fix it and nothing at all made it look any better. The trailer for this game as well as a video I saw on youtube both looked crystal clear and a world of a difference compared to what I experienced. Not sure what was going on but the lack of any steam achievements and the slow walking pace made this game not worth it at all to continue on with. I did like the christmas decorations and fireworks.
Sounds felt a little off in this one, jump scares were a little lacking and the ghost voice didn't fit, still a neat short horror sim with a neat story and decent atmosphere in some areas, a good holiday horror
Game looks good but the scares are lame. I feel like this could've been an alright without the cheap jumpscares.
Bellissimo cesso di gioco. Mi hai rovinato il natale.
