The Last Caretaker

Raft with a gun and some intricate story telling. I really enjoy this game and exploration, but it gets somewhat repetetive at some point - same resources and same enemies. Would be great to know about all robots lying around, maybe battle rogue AI\awaken caretakers, customize your ship even more.

I really want to give this game a positive review, but at this time, my save game with over 50 hours has become completely unplayable. I am frustrated and feel the devs are not doing anything to patch this game. I say that because when I went into the discussions on the crashes, there are so many it's rediculous. It is a good game and addicting and I am really enjoying it.. until it crashes. In no way am I going to start a whole new game after putting 50 plus hours in because of a stupid crash on startup... I will just find another game to play and put my time into. It has crashed on me many times in the past, but it didn't become unplayable until today. I tried to load an older save, but as soon as I get to the same spot as my other save, at the Last Listener Station, the game crashes and i have to reboot my pc to get it to go away. I get no error message or anything. In this spot on the map, the game just crashes... every single time. I even tried turning ray tracing off as some suggested, but that did absolutely nothing to fix the issue. When my game becomes playable again, I might change my review to positive, but until then, I cannot recommend this frustration to anyone that hasn't bought the game yet. Wait until it is fixed and the devs show that they care that people can no longer play it.

20% Subnautica 30% Satisfactory 50% Powerwash Simulator I bought the game expecting something like Satisfactory or Star Rupture, but then it ended up mostly being Crime Scene Cleaner with some shooty and some buildy bits inbetween :D That worked out exceptionally well for me, but you need to be able to buy into the bits of the game where you spend hours just collecting, shredding and sorting through everything that's not bolted down.

Great game. Lots of fun. Basically the best solo survival/crafting type game I've played in a long time. Despite still being in early access the game is very much playable and full of content and hours and hours of playtime. Can only get better. Really the only issue is that it's pretty graphics heavy and so my some-what potato machine struggles a bit. We are talking old i5 CPU, 32 GB DDR4 RAM, RTX 3060 Ti (8 GB VRAM) is only just managing 30 fps at 1980x1080 and medium quality. So basically the "recommended" specs get you OK but not great graphics quality. At the "minimum" specs they are listing, you would need to dial the graphics wayyyyy down.

Une pépite ce jeu, j'adore et puis ce n'est que le début ! Après j'ai tellement peur de l'eau c'est une dinguerie, faire des sorties sous l'eau une vraie épreuve à chaque fois. J'ai hâte de voir la suite des mises a jours. Prenez le jeu sans soucis vous allez pas voir le temps qui passe.

Played about 12 hours. gotten maybe 2 hours into the game due to constant crashes that rolls back progress to last save, save points are an annoying feature to have- just save my progress every few minutes..
