I love this game, it scratches an itch very few games do, the resorce gathering aspect, wiring mechanics, and exploration. Honestly feels very similar to prey in som regards with awesome factory setups
Been playing since update 2. Over 600 hours? Definitely the fastest I racked up that many hours into one game, and there's many more in the future.
!
Super fun game, some bugs here and there but it is in early access and the devs are quick to fix bugs they're made aware of. Can be spooky if you're afraid of open water and sharks but can also be chill if you stay in well lit areas and focus on crafting. Devs are constantly updating the game and each update adds so much to what already feels like a full game.
Up there with Cairn and Windrose as games of the year for me.
A mixed bag. Some neat gameplay at times, environments and use of physics, however, lots of strange and inconsistent design choices add up to the game feeling very experimental and rudderless. YMMV, but can't recommend currently. **I hesitate to mention poor performance of a game still in development, but as a paid release, it has to be said - it cooks even current gen hardware to run at a reasonable rate, which gets worse over time until restarted. Highest temps and lowest framerate of anything I've played in recent years, both CPU and GPU heavy from start to finish. Perhaps with time and polish this will improve, but historically, massive optimizations after-the-fact are almost never the case.
Fun game if it wasn't for the constant GPU Crash dump Triggered that I keep getting
I can highly recommend that game to any survival games fan. It is a rather calm, unstressful experience with large exploration focus where you can travel around the world on your own pace. - solid combat - really interesting story and narrative snippets - simple, but functional crafting mechanics and skill tree - really great world with handcrafted locations - great physics gameplay (and ship/wave mechanics) For Early Access this is already a well crafted and rounded experience. Yes, here and there you might find smaller bugs or open narrative ends, but for the price it is a bargain. However, if you are looking for intense, shooting-heavy survival game, this might not be the right choice for you.
The story is really interesting and the gameplay has cool features, but damn it runs like ass and the saving mechanic is such a bother. Would recommend it if the performance was fixed, but until then just wait I guess.
Great game no longer heats up cpu
