overall this game is a pretty unique and amazing experience, def worth the asking price. Although i do find myself regretful i wish there were other games that used these gameplay mechanics and went even harder with them. those regrets however have nothing to do with this game and everything to do with the industry itself. Hopefully people will copy this games success and innovate such interesting new mechanics as these ones. They feel deeply immersive and interactive, to the point you almost feel you're on the ocean yourself. I've gotten done with gameplay sessions and almost gotten sea sick thinking my floor is ebbing and bobbing.
I really wanted to like this game but unfortunately, it does try it's hardest to make everything as difficult as possible at every corner. - Want to build something but missing resources? It only shows you the missing parts but not the actual resources unless you know where it's hidden but even then it's not an accurate display - Want to repair something? You have to run back to your ship and hopefully rememeber all the different ressources you needed to repair - Just take some extra resources just in case? You're overloaded - Take resources to build new structures? You're overloaded - Take enough Ammo to fight the hoards of enemies....guess what...you're overloaded This game is a constant struggle at every step even though it could be such a cool exploration game as soon as 2 2 fixes will be implemented: 1. Reduce the weight of everything (it doesnt add any interesting game play mechanic) 2. Let me access the ships resources from the platform I'm on when I'm docked at it. Again, running back and forth and being overloaded constantly doesnt add an interesting game mechanic Until then I can't recommend the game unfortunately
Fix the no orbital representative assigned bug. For the love of god... Will update my review positive when it's fixed.
Up there with Cairn and Windrose as games of the year for me.
I love this game, it scratches an itch very few games do, the resorce gathering aspect, wiring mechanics, and exploration. Honestly feels very similar to prey in som regards with awesome factory setups
!
Omfg it crashes every fifteen minutes plz undo update
Been playing since update 2. Over 600 hours? Definitely the fastest I racked up that many hours into one game, and there's many more in the future.
I love this game. It makes me seasick. Really.
