At this moment I have to say that the concept is very interesting, but a few things just really frustrating. 1. Can you please respect peoples time? Why do some things take literal actual hours (refueling?) The other Im not going to spoil just will say it actually literally takes real life 24 hours? YOu guys ok? 2. The whole Idea of having to carry things in front of you so it completely obscures field of view and you struggle with climbing stairs that way? Ok this is just annoying but doesnt have to be. On timed tasks, maybe give people an adjustable in settings slider of how fast some things should take? If you want snail pace, by all means leave it as is, if you want a but faster "dial it up?" Would be nice
"The Raft" in a new wrapping. I hate the grind.
Up there with Cairn and Windrose as games of the year for me.
Really interesting game, and it certainly looks good, but also completely maxes out my GPU no matter what I set the graphical settings to, doesn't feel like the devs cared much about optimization. There's a pretty apparent lack of tech to build, got to what looks like the highest wind and solar gens after around 10 hours, and the only battery 6 hours earlier. "But Early Access!" - sure, but I can't review a game for what it's going to be, just what it is right now. And right now, I'm done with it. Also, the dismantle tool gave me a migrane.
I love this game, it scratches an itch very few games do, the resorce gathering aspect, wiring mechanics, and exploration. Honestly feels very similar to prey in som regards with awesome factory setups
Super fun game, some bugs here and there but it is in early access and the devs are quick to fix bugs they're made aware of. Can be spooky if you're afraid of open water and sharks but can also be chill if you stay in well lit areas and focus on crafting. Devs are constantly updating the game and each update adds so much to what already feels like a full game.
Takes forever to get anything done in this game. Sloggy resources around a laggy ship. The enemies in this game are not engaging or fun to fight at all, they're just pests. Imagine while you're trying to build a machine, you're getting attacked by flies constantly because you didn't build enough lights around you. The gimmick of breaking everything down to build stuff fell off fast once I got into the game, it started to become a chore hunting down any single item that had enough plastic.
