The Last Campfire

The Last Campfire is a little puzzle platformer with a thoughtful story, colorful and cute art style, and moving soundtrack. You control Ember, a literal ember from a fire, who gets swept away and has to find their path. You solve a series of puzzles and platforming challenges, each telling a unique story about a forlorn ember. The game is short; I clocked a little over 3 hours to 100%. I played entirely on Steam Deck and the game ran well for the most part. There were minor graphical hiccups during some scenes that weren't game-breaking, but enough for me to mark this down to 4.5 stars. The game is family-friendly and the puzzles are mildly challenging. I recommend to anyone looking for a cute puzzle platformer with a heart-warming tale about overcoming difficulty and providing hope to those who have lost their way.

首先，小余烬真的很萌！配音也特别像童话故事的开场白，在耳边一点一点把你往里面带。关卡看着简单，一上手就自动变成纸张——“是我卡bug了，还是游戏的问题？”但沉下心来观察整个布局，就能马上找到门道。那种“啊原来这么简单”的瞬间会怀疑自己是不是熬傻了。 其次，关卡不是那种一个一个独立的小房间，整个画面是像流水一样被串连起来，不会觉得突兀的森林。在里面走来走去解谜，全程就在两种状态里反复横跳：“完了是不是出bug了，好像回不去了” vs “哦——原来这里能走啊”。而且游戏没有那种被推着走“回不去”的落差感，因为随时可以返回到之前的地点——走的每一步都会留下痕迹。 顺便说一句，小余烬你的耳朵也萌得犯规。

That's a puzzle game plus a cool story game with a lot of charming details and a nice narrator voice. There is no real violence it's chill and coloured and sometimes a little bit dark but it's ok, it's part of a lively experience.
